hi, it's possible to only remove flora from battlefield?? thats kinda weird going ralentized (should be a forest there) on the campaign map with nothing there
I just tried deleting all the entries in flora_kinds.xml that don't have 'map' anywhere in the name. So far it seems to be working and only removes flora from the battlegrounds.
It's pretty easy to do yourself, but I could probably link it if you don't want to mess with it.
Ofcorse it will help a bit for laptop players, but other than that, this mod just makes you vulnerable for any mounted party, trees can't slow down horse, trees can't block arrows whent there aren't any. It's like you'd play desert battles all the time xD It seem more like so called modern art rather than modification xD
Probably if you want all your battles to be on open terrain. The performance benefit is negligible. It's not field battles that bog down systems, it's sieges.
У меня видеокарта GTX 1050 ti. В сражениях на лесных картах кадры проседают до 30-40, на полевых стабильные 70-80. Деревья очень сильно нагружают видеокарту, ничуть не меньше, чем замки с городами.
hello, i have use the mod but now i want back and unfortunately i m noob i don t know how to back flora i have delete the file of flora kind rename and put back flora kind but it dont work please help me It s ok i solve it i go on steam and recover files
Flioxiteur, just go into Steam, then to your Library, and in the list on the left Right-Click on Bannerlord, then click on properties. From there you want to go to the 'Local Files' tab, then click on 'Verify Integrity of Game Files'.
This is the quickest and easiest way I know of to get your Trees and stuff back without having downloaded the mod myself. I do believe the Author claimed to have backed up the original file in the mod folder it's self, so it may just be a matter of finding that backup, deleting the modded file, and renaming the backup to the Original files name.
Also, just as a warning, if you do the Steam Verify-Integrity-Thing, it's very likely to then screw up a bunch of your other mods. If you have Vortex (The new Nexus Mod manager) there is an easy way around this. Once you have repaired your file with the Steam-Verify thing, just open up Vortex, (It's important you wait till AFTER it's done and the little 2-5kb file has FINISHED it's download) and then one at a time just right click on each mod you have and click on 'Reinstall', when the prompt shows up asking you if you want to replace, revert, or some other thing, select 'Replace'. Do that for each of your mods and your game should function just like before, and all your mods will work as well.
The only hang up with this method is that any configurable XML files you've tweaked yourself you'll then need to re-configure them to your personal settings again.
Also, this Verifying Files through Steam and then Reinstalling all your mods with Vortex trick/technique should be your first step in troubleshooting crashes and/or failures to launch the game after a new patch to the game.

Is it because it reduces the strain on computer? Will this help my FPS lag?

I hope this helps man, good luck, cheers c:
If you could agree, i'm hopeful that i could reupload the file(s) too. Many Chinese Player can't download files on nexusmods.
Thanks :)
