The tutorial states that custom culture creation is not covered. Do you know of any tutorials that do? I want to make some custom cultures to be selectable at game-start without actually adding their kingdoms to the game.
do you know how to add clan members on our custom clans? like without creating a kingdom, culture and other stuffs? like literally add a clan member to it?
But is it not possible to make a culture without assigning it to a kingdom right away? Say I want to play as a member of a minor faction, or as a complete stranger to Calradia, so naturally I would not have any kingdoms using my custom cultures (at least not until I conquer a castle or town and establish my own kingdom). Alternatively, if I give each of the minor factions a castle, how will they know to hang out there?
That's great! I've never seen such a detailed custom kingdom teaching, and I've always wanted to create my own country. Thank you for your selfless sharing. BTW: can you post a tutorial on how to make mods, I am Chinese and can't go on YouTube
hello! thank you for this one! Yep i figured it all out and without this as my base information for creating a custom clan, I wouldn't be able to create the clans I wanted. Thank you!
Hey man, thanks a lot for the helpful guide, i have just one issue (or miss understanding?), i'd like to add custom equipment to the added lords, but the section 5 where it is supposed to be explained seems to be missing, is it intentional or is it yet to be finished ? [NEVERMIND, I DID NOT READ THE FILE'S DESCRIPTION MY BAD]
No worries I'm going to have to rewrite it to an extent due to losing the original in a PC breakdown. I'd suggest looking at the Native ones but there are also examples in the Custom Module as well
As cited in my other response; just adding it here incase you didn't see it. If you follow the steps up until adding a new kingdom then that's pretty much it. If you only want to add them to an existing clan just follow the guide up until adding a new clan and simply add the clan ID you want to the Hero in the heroes xml. Hope my guide continues to help you. I have e updated the discord link so it will now take you to the new server if you need more help.
Hello. What should I do for the files to work properly?I had another question... I was already looking to build a new kingdom and I have some things like soldiers, lords and sets ready. How can I replace them in your file? Can you do this for me or at least guide me consistently and thoroughly? please
If you have your own files ready it should be a simple case of replacing the ones there and changing the paths in the SubModule. The names used in the guide can be swapped out for anything. Most of my own mods files are Prefixed with something like "KOA_" which separates it from any native files.
Thanks for this extensive guide. I've managed to create custom cultures, kingdoms, factions and everything else i wanted to do with this guide as a reference. For people having problems i recomend using this guide and check out released working mods with the content you aspire to create.
this might be years late but, how do I add custom troops, clan members, custom equipment without creating a new kingdom or culture. I just want them to be a vassal to someone kingdom.
Hi! This resource has been very helpful, I was successfully able to create a clan and interact with it on the campaign map. However, attempting to give said clan the town of Lageta has proved difficult. It gives me the standard crash error when trying to start a sandbox game, unsure what I have done wrong. Anyone else having issues after following the guideline?
Either way, thank you for taking the time to make this guide!
