Have you ever unmounted your horse and lost it? Have you ever thought: "I wish I didn't need to run for a minute to get back to my horse!"? Then this mod is for you!
Simply press "F" for a second and your mount will do the best he can to reach you (configurable).
Possible messages
- "You're already riding!": You are already on a horse while trying to call your mount, your horse is confused and is contemplating running away at night.
- "You don't have a mount.": You don't have a mount but are trying to call for one, no one answers and you are filled with crippling loneliness.
- "Your mount has heard your call...": Your mount has heard your call for help and is arriving at your location.
Current Features
- Your mount will come to you during Missions, where a mount is allowed.
Planned Features
- Player character makes a whistling sound when calling the horse.
- Ability to remap the key for calling the horse.
Compatibility
It should be compatible with all other mods. Doesn't overwrite any classes nor dlls. You can add it to your game any time you like, including mid-campaign.
Installation
Use vortex, and enable the mod in the launcher's mods tab.
A manual install can be done by unzipping the file to your bannerlord's Modules directory.
If the game can't load the mod, find the file "HorseCall.dll" and right-click -> properties -> click unblock. The file is under bannerlord's install directory in "Modules\HorseCall\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\HorseCall.dll"
Configuration
Configuration file available in Documents/Mount and Blade II Bannerlord/Configs/HorseCall.xml
You can change the key to any of the list given in the XML file :)
