I havent played in a long time as of now but i do believe most dearves arent finished yet and are mostly just the skeletons for the models. Dwarves arent in use yet and are mainly justs there for the sake of testing and prepping for future updates. Though there may ne some changes since they are officially working on dwarves and greenskins in the actual mods dev team.
Do you need some help in making other units type in this game? I am tempted to overhaul and add dismounted knights for every single noble unit and also add archers in some cases (for vampires and skeletons). It doesn't need a lot of work from my perspective.
Personally its no gripe with me if you want to add on to the mod and make your own units. For the most part anything i did is nothing special. Though you may need to ask the other two because they’ve been working on the actual models and such like the dwarves. They may have certain things they dont want messed with or reposted but for my side atleast, i dont mind.
OK I found the culprit , just put The Old Realms Armory and The Old Realms Environment as close to the top after the main core game. EG. after Story Mode. If you put it somewhere down bellow and you have mods something weird happens and The Old Realms destabilizes and the Units don't have armor.
Can you see the units in the encyclopedia with the 0.5.1 update in Old Realms? I know that with the new update, custom units from third party mods are suppressed.

Yes. Our units are in the encyclopedia with the SoD version of TOR. We're currently working on a update which this mod becomes a official submod, including more units. Doing so will remove the annoying manual copy/paste of files.
Official submod would allow normal installation. Similar to other mods. Like TOR, bahamut, ramsays, etc. Right now our mod is just manual copy paste, overwriting TOR files.
We're currently waiting on assets. And some life stuff is slowing us down atm.
