It's not going to happen. BKCE has surpassed CEK in every conceivable way. I also can no longer dedicate my time to being the sole maintainer of CE/CEK anymore. Especially since I keep receiving 5+ bug reports a day for people who can't be bothered to read.

I'm thinking about potentially updating some of these files. I just want to know if you would be okay with me doing so? I see you put up the sources, but I still want to make sure. I also would like to know what all you had to change/edit/add in some of the files, to get a better idea on what I would need to update to get everything working again. I haven’t been able to update CE/CEK for 1.2.x yet and won’t be able to for a while so the only modules here that are worth updating are the trade fixes and potentially Education/Warlord

EDIT: seems the Warlord mod is not compactible with BKCE, would be great if the pack here would get some update that would make it work together

The random language appears to be assigned every time the game starts, so characters will randomly stop reading books partway through.
