UPDATED to work for 1.0.0+ (at the moment up to 1.1.5) , banners, uniforms, shields. ALL shields are finally fixed, battle banners now carry proper clan designs, added custom banners for ALL rebel towns, made compatible with SEPARATISM Mod - CHAOS Start! Should now work with Raise Your Banner ! WARNING- For Separatism you have to, immediately upon spawning on game map, to save the game and load that savegame to load the custom banners)!
Installation: - Unzip the downloaded CBUfor1.1.5 folder , and inside the extracted folder should be a folder named "PocColor", put it in the Modules folder in the Bannerlord directory.
- If you already have the POC Color Mod, make sure to delete the old one before putting the new one in Modules folder, it can cause issues otherwise. - Check the POC Color Randomizer Mod at launch, and enjoy! (Have in mind when starting a new game or first time enabling the mod on an old save, when the game loads up the map, banners can be still Native ones, so save the game again immediately and load it up agan, banners should reload then !) (before starting any new mod, i always recommend using the Module Unblocker mod, because some Windows iterations block . dlls)
Known issues: - When clans (uncluding player) changes kingdoms, or becomes independent, their banner may become broken and they retain previous faction's unit colors. The solutions is to save and load the save.
- If the player uses a complex custom banner for himself, it might get monocolored in the next reload. Solution is either paste your banner in the banner editor after each load (using banner paste mod or other), or check out the Player Banner Shields optional file on this mod page and follow the instructions there.
- If experiencing white troop colors, enter config and on every place where is PlayerClan mode:0, change to "mode: 2"
Planned features: - Continue adding to variety and immersion by further tweaking banners, uniforms and shields.
Hi! I've made a custom config using this as a base, updating some old/broken banners, fixing the colors on some, individual clan colors, etc. I'm wondering if I could have permission to upload it as a standalone config? (with credit of course)
I'm not sure if this is still going to receive updates, but it's easily the best banner pack on nexus and it's a shame to see it buried for the last couple years. I'd love to continue maintaining this!
So this is weird, everything works, in combat, in conversation, in the banner editor and even in the unit icons, my units have the right color, but in the party screen where you level up the units they all have green uniforms. Can anyone relate?
I fixed this issue by not using this mod's built-in POC mod. Download the latest POC mod and then grab this mod's "config.json" and place it inside the folder.
To anyone wondering, yes this mod still works flawlessly on a normal Calradia game on the latest update with zero crashes or hiccups, using the POC Color Randomizer mod and BannerColorPersistence.
If you're struggling with banners changing color or not staying set normally, make sure you have BannerColorPersistence installed, follow this path: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\BannerColorPersistence\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\)
Open the config file and set the following, save, then start a new game!
You absolutely can go into the config file for this POC setup and alter it however you like. Change specific banners, remove random shields (or add more). You can even set it so clans use select colors, pick from all the colors in their banner, randomize it, or whatever you like. POC is a powerful mod and this config is the best out there! Happy modding, good luck!
Where exactly would I go in the config to change that, I want my troops to spawn in with random shields but not me. For some reason it works for the npc lords just not the player.
Can I edit the banners? I found the file with the banner code, but what do I do with it? I mainly want to give Vagiroving a more simple banner (remove the dog).

Should be fixed for you.
