From the maker of Europe 1100 comes a brand new mod set at the turn of the 18th century.

EoE1700 is a historical overhaul of Bannerlord that adds:
  • 611 unique lords
  • 207 noble houses
  • 15 Kingdoms
  • 23 playable cultures
  • 17-18th century gunpowder warfare including muskets, rifles, pistols, artillery, and grenades.


Installation

Installation Video

Download EoE1700.zip and extract to your \Modules folder.

The full load order should be:
  • Harmony
  • Core Bannerlord Modules
  • EoE1700
  • Any other mods

Note that if you are coming from a previous version Assets and Lemmy's Europe Map are not longer required. The EoE1700.zip is the only required mod (plus Harmony).

Notes on the economy - this is my first attempt at starting to improve the economy. Not every town can produce every item, so my hope is trade will actually function, and the right kind of workshop in the right area can be profitable. No doubt things will need to be tweaked with subsequent releases.

Update Overview: Video

It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of EoE1700 1.2.12.

This is a major update to the mod, and constitutes an overhaul of almost all elements of the original game.

Key highlights include:
  • Transition to the new map
  • New armour and weapon assets
  • All files rolled into a single mod package (no other dependencies)
  • New sound effects
  • New scenes for Towns, Castles, Villages, Hideouts, and Tournaments
  • New Cultures and Troops
  • Field Artillery (thanks to @Sandipan)
  • Many, many more updates along the way...
This is easily the biggest update we have ever done for either mod, and represents many months worth of work to bring this to the community.

With this release we say goodbye to Lemmy's Europe Map, as well as the Napoleonic assets - the entire mod is now within a single 3.5gb package, and there are no dependencies other than Harmony.

EoE1700 - 1.2.9.5 - The "Cannons & Pirates" update.

Overview video

This update replaces the existing siege equipment with 3x new types of cannon. Note that cannons are only available for sieges at this time. Field artillery is being worked on separately.

Updates:
- Addition of Debrecen as a town in Hungary
- Addition of Amsterdam in The Netherlands
- Dutch Culture and Troop Tree
- Black Guard troop tree for Morocco (as mercenaries)
- Cannons for sieges replacing Ballistas, Mangonels, and Trebuchets
- 2x "Privateer" mercenary clans lead by Charles Vane, and Benjamin Hornigold
- New tournament templates for all cultures (guns in tournaments)

Fixes:
- Fix to culture for Bialystok and Acre
- Reducing cavalry charge damage again - for some reason this drastically increased horse cost.
- Changes to culture names for some regions and kingdoms
- Fix for Spanish town culture
- Fixed broken banner for Rakoczi
- Removed duplicate Hanover clan
- Changed Baghdad culture to Arab
- Rename Frankish to French

Empires of Europe 1700 - 1.2.9.1 Update

  • Update to Europe Map 1.2.9.3 (MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE THE MAP)
  • Addition of Persia including 7x new settlements
  • Many new settlements in Anatolia, Greece, and Germany
  • Custom ports for Jatara, Pisa, and Caesarea
  • Sami areas are added back in! Minus the northern most settlements
  • Critical fixes to equipment for troops and lord equipment sets. This should resolve all crashes that I am aware of.
  • All items have been moved to core files for easier updating
  • Some balancing to Abus gun

This update is about bringing both mods inline with the map update, and some major bug fixes. Hopefully the mod is much more stable now!

Empires of Europe 1700 - Hotfix 1.2.8.62

  • Removal of all possible vanilla items
  • New gear now correctly shows up for sale in all town markets
  • Napoleonic gear is all renamed to be generic (not culture specific)
  • Fixes to several broken troop trees and gear
  • Reduced size of Asset Pack by 2GB.

THIS IS NOT SAVEGAME COMPATIBLE!

Unfortunately you will need to start a new game to see all the changes reflected. This will be the case for most of the early updates.

You will also need to download the asset pack again to see the gear name changes. This should be the last asset update for a while.

Updates live on Steam and Nexus. You only need to update the Core Mod, not the Assets Mod.

First Release - 1.2.8.6 (compatible with 1.2.9)

This is the first release which provides a playable baseline on which to develop further.

There is a lot of work still to be done on items, equipment sets, additional lords, and map changes.

Sandipan is also working on getting the Artillery mod working for next release.
