Uploaded an update for the new game update v1.2.10, please select the correct file for your game version!
Support will also be dropped for v1.2.9 and any outdated game versions for future mod updates. As usual, mod updates will always be based on the latest game version!
If you are looking for an older version of the mod that is based on your installed game versions, you may find them in the Old Files section!
Hi, if you disable that feature in the mod settings and restart, it shouldnt affect the minimum marriage age anymore. If it still conflicts, you can create a bug report so that I can take a look into it.
Look on Steam there is Marriage and fertility that let you change all the age when People can Marry and when they can have Children and even the option so Lords Marry much more and build family
I have locked the marriage age to a minimum of 18 to comply with nexusmod's rules.
If you have knowledge on XML files, you can bypass the limits if you directly modify the xml file for this mod's settings which is generated by MCM. However, I will not grant any support on this.
How come it worked before? I just used reinstall on vortex. I will look for that file. Thanks for the hint. Found the file. But even with change vortex seem not read it. Tryed both new game and new save. But for others who also want faster big family. There is this mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/5495
Does this mod fixes the problem with children being immortal? i used a age changing mod before and it happened that enemy children are just unkillable and they whoop me really easily
Thank you for the mod, is it possible to add a feature to allocate children talents when they are growing up?, those that show up every 2 year. Because when you have like 60 childrens it became a chore and I haven't found any mod that do anything like that.
I love the mod, but it seems to be incompatible with Timelord in one way or another, because at some point during my campaign, all the heroes in the game suddently turn into kids (no joke), like everything seems to be running great and all of a sudden, everyone's a kid, that means any and every wanderers, nobles, companions, me, only the troops stay adults
The worst part is that I don't know how to fix it or how to easily reproduce the issue, because it pops up at a seemingly completely random point during my campaign, it could be a week into it, or five years into it, and even worse than that; once the bug occurs, it seems to corrupt every single one of my saves, so I can't even load an earlier save and be fine, if I load a save which was fine before, then the bug will occur and I'm fucked, and the only way to fix this is to disable timelord (and then reenable it after loading/saving/restart) but this means doing away with the very most important part of timelord; the change that makes seasons only take 7 days instead of 21
So this is probably due to some extremely weird number fuckery going on between all the maths that timelord does, and then what this mod tries to do with kids (and then the 'heroes' which are adults become kids because some number goes up way too fast or too far, or maybe your mod tries to read their age in a different way than what comes out from timelord, I don't know lol)
Anyways, I'm a big fan of your mods and this one in particular but I just can't see myself playing without timelord (until TW realizes that they need to integrate the system themselves into the game, because why the f*#@ did they add a dynasty system with kids and aging and all that s#*!, but a player needs to play a campaign for over a thousand hours before ending up playing as their first born)
Hi, from my understanding TimeLord already has a similar feature as this mod's Children Lords. It should be under "Age Stages" from Timelord.
Since TimeLord patches thing more intrusively, I will suggest turning off this mod's Children Lords feature in the settings. The patches for the rest of this mod should work together properly with TimeLord. Do let me know if other issues pop up!
This mod also contains the following patches that are not shown in the settings menu: - Fix children's immortality - TeleportationCampaignBehavior's HeroComesOfAge error handler (this crash happens occasionally when some mods are not designed to handle a younger age, this mod just handles the error so that it won't interrupt your game).
If you find yourself not using the above patches and the other ones in the settings menu, I will recommend that you remove this mod, as TimeLord does similar things as well.
Can you do a version without troop changes or change it so it uses one of the other mods that allow for them to be added into other mods that add troops? Launched game with this and crashed Might've been rbm too idk Either way i narrowed it down to this mod crashing me out pretty quick.
I mean regardless the way it inserts the kid bandit troops doesn't seem like it'll be compatible with, well, literally anything regardless if it's a major overhaul or not
Also to be fair that's more a very unsubtle nudge towards maybe either shifting the kid troops into a sub mod that uses something like ATC or custom spawn API instead idk tho!
I thought about it before, but it will be extremely painful for me whenever TaleWorld slams a new update. That’s why I chose to combine all the mod features together, and make each of it toggle-able instead.
Some major overhaul mods are more intrusive and will require this mod’s troop xml files to be deleted alongside disabling bandit children in the mod options. Afterwards, the mod will just mainly be children lords.
EDIT: If your focus is on the bandit children, this mod is still required as it unlocks a soft lock that TaleWorld implemented for children, which made them invulnerable.
Still using this and Spouses Expanded. Still loving your work.
There's only one real thing left that is niggling with children in this game; they all spawn at really high levels. is it possible to both NPC & Player children characters to start at level 1 with trash stats like the player does in the beginning?
Around 15-16 in my experience. With all the focus & attribute points, children become extremely strong very fast. So once the starting lords' children come of age, big factions absolutely steamroll because of all the amazing generals.
A related thing are the ladies which the AI just has stay in settlements. They are also level 16 or so, but don't have any attribute or focus points from those levels. I've been purposefully using them in my armies instead of the children, as they are more challenging vs a child with all the perk points that gets 10 points in a skill per swing.
Hmm those numbers seem to align to the base game's stats whenever a hero reaches 18 years old (vanilla's Heroes Come Of Age). I will add a configuration to my todo list, but I am hoping that TaleWorlds will properly balance it instead ;-;
If it's a bother there's zero pressure like. It's strange that TW thought this was a good thing to do, as it rips out the early -> mid -> late game cycle. Everything just stays as late game with the way kids are popped out.

You can read the other comments on how to bypass it, but I cannot grant any other support
Lots of Problems in the Mod Comments there

Got the right file. Strange my laptop could not find it. Much thanks. Game more realistic now.
