Updates for the mod will always follow the latest game versions. Please select the correct file for your current game version!

Support will also be dropped for outdated game versions for future mod updates. As usual, mod updates will always be based on the latest game version!

If you are looking for an older version of the mod that is based on your installed game versions, you may find them in the Old Files section!

I keep getting an issue with the mod spawning like 100+ wanderers on the list when i check them and I think it has broken a save of mine due to it. Im not 100% sure if it is this mod but I do have a stupidly high amount of wanderers. It may have been my own stupidity but I would like some help!

This is indeed a weird bug. Setting the max wanderers to 1 then clicking the refresh button should help to delete all the excess wanderers. If it doesn't help, I may need you to create a bug report with the steps on replicating it

I think I am having a similar issue. To my understanding, by default, the mod spawns 2 wanderers for every inn, which shows up in the ingame encyclopedia. Considering there are probably a 100+ villages in the game, the list becomes stupidly long, with multiple duplicates of the same type, like (x) the exile or (x) the wanderer, for example. All of these wanderers are marked as "never seen before" and therefore impossible to track, if you were looking for someone specifically. It even makes the normal city wanderers impossible to find littered in the list of 100s of wanderers.

At some point, between saving/loading and resetting the amount of wanderers per inn, these encyclopedia entries become "ghosts", causing the game to throw an exception every time I attempt to open one of the hundreds of wanderer entries. I think by setting wanderers per inn to 0, and loading a save with wanderers already in inns, broke the save.

When I load the save, I get a massive list of errors, saying "invalid characterobject upgradetargets detected of (string of numbers)". I am currently in the process of trying to figure out how to save this save file, but I might have to get rid of it.

      Currently looking into this issue.

As for the "invalid characterobject upgradetargets detected of (string of numbers)", it shouldnt be coming from this mod as it's completely unrelated. It's most likely from another mod that adds/modifies new troops, clans or kingdoms etc.

It may be, though I've encountered it twice in two separate saves that coincided with the encyclopedia breaking. I do have mods that add both wanderers, minor factions, and additional troop types, so there may be a conflict. The first 2 paragraphs of my "report" is most likely from this mod, however.

I never did manage to figure out the exact cause, nor how to fix it. I ended up just abandoning the save and reverting to an earlier one when possible.

As a side note, I was hoping this feature would "cycle" the city wanderers, but it does not appear to do that. I was trying to use this mod as a way to more reliably find specific types of wanderers, like say one with good trade skills when I needed a companion to oversee caravans, for example. The reset wanderers button does not seem to affect city wanderers, probably by design. I see that another of your mods does basically exactly this.

I downloaded the latest version. Although I can open the encyclopedia, a large number of wanderers are still there. I don't know if it's my problem. What should I do?

Hi @wearty26, having a large number of wanderers is normal as the mod spawns wanderers for every village. It's only weird if the number of wanderers keep on multiplying as the game didn't delete the unused wanderers properly. if that is what you are facing, do create a bug report!

Untested as this mod was initially built on v1.2.9. You can give it a try as there wasn't much changes between the versions, but I cannot guarantee that every feature is working.

Accidentally discovered something: If my party consists only of family members, I cannot train them—the game indicates I have no companions in my party, and the training button is grayed out. However, if I add a non-family companion to my party, I can train them, and then all my family members in the party can also be trained. It seems that having a non-family companion in the party acts as a key to unlock training for all nobles in the party.

Yup, I left the bug there as a "happy little accident". By right, family members are not allowed to be trained, but since many users also wanted to train their family, I just ignored the bug.

I already prepared the fix so that it will consider family members as trainable but I will only apply it in the next update

Is it possible for you to add an option in MCM to disable notifications of xp gained after training your companions?
I don't need them tbh and they are cluttering my chatlog.
    Great job anyway :)

Hmm seems like this crash is occurring as you were in a village while saving the game. I will take a look into it, but for now try to avoid saving the game while you are in any settlement.

Found the source of the bug, was a careless mistake. It should be resolved in v1.2.12.1

Great mod! Loving it so far.

However, I'm not sure if it's just me but I have my wife in my party with me, and when I go to a castle to train clan members, I get the "You have no clan members to train!" message.

    Thanks!

The training currently can only be done on companions and not clan members. Initially I intended to include family members, but I realized it was much more complex than expected so I reverted it back to companions only.

If I do find time, I will probably work on including family members as well

Is there a config option to add the training option to settlements too or is it only for castles?
