About this mod
With Realm of Thrones 6.0, a tweaked and perfected version of this patch has been dynamically implemented by Carbon in to the mod itself. With that said - the feature is not 100% finished and this patch aims to correct the damage values on the custom bows and arrows. This patch does nothing more and nothing less, but make those things work.

As mentioned above, this patch brings armors and weapons in Realm of Thrones 5.5 in line with typical Realistic Battle Mod values. It is done by adjusting the values of armor and weapons. This is usually done by the Realistic Battle Mod itself, but since an overhaul mod like Realm of Thrones adds custom armors and weapons, it has to be done by an external patch - this is what this patch does. Do not install this patch if you are not using Realistic Battle Mod.
Given the vast number of unique armor pieces in the amazing ROT mod, producing a balanced RBM patch is a little tedious and takes some time. That said - i have a few hours of sandbox testing, and the results are balanced enough to release. There will be some values that still need tweaking, but by and large the first release works pretty well from a balance standpoint. Initial feedback points to the Iron Islands being quite strong, currently waiting for more feedback on this.
Please read the install instructions carefully before seeking help and saying that it doesn't work.

[🟢= Done 🟡= Working on currently 🔴= Planned ]
🟢Add themed arrows for high tier archers. Rename Giants arrows with weight.
🟢Go through all helmets individually and set values for face armor based on 3D-assets face coverage and material.
🟢Incorporate horse armor values.
🟢Implement SubModules in order to ease use of this patch, so it can be installed/enabled/disabled without replacing the original files.
🟢Make alternate files of different armor strengths available.
🟢Make a version based on book/show lore. See article for more.
🟢Improve shield position of both bugged RBM shields and ROT shields.
🟢Change names of native and RBM weapons to fit the theme, and not be immersion breaking.
🟡Transfer total RBM armor values into the community ROT Troop Cheat sheet.
🔴Add more new themed arrows and bolts

If you notice any odd or missing values, please let me know, and I’ll address them in future updates.
Since this Patch adds new items in the form of Arrows, it is probably safe to add, but not safe to remove (mid playthrough) without potential issues.
Keep in mind that previous RBM patches have added items to the game which this patch does not contain. Therefore you can't replace an old RBM patch with this one without starting a new save.
I've personally never had any issues with crashing from using RBM together with ROT, but i know of users that have dealt with corrupt saves. Use it at your own risk and backup your saves if they are important to you.

This patch is simply just related to the armor and weapon values of the assets in their mod, in order for it to work well with the popular Realistic Battle Mod.
Thanks to ingrimsch6234 that guided me with migrating the mod to a submodule-install, along with important balance addons.
