In github on the right side press on "Releases". It will open a page sorted from latest to oldest release. Expand "Assets" on the latest release. Download the zip file FirewoodColliderX.X.zip (X is the version number). The zip contains a dll. Place the dll in the mods folder.

Whenever i take a log from the pile it instantly "chops" it but it still says its a log on both pieces and i cant pick them up to put them into the trailer. Hitting them with the axe doesnt seem to fix it. Version 1.21 is causing a crash when reloading a save (i.e save and quit, then load back in from menu). Removed all mods and narrowed it down to this one.
Doesn't crash when loading the save from initial launch though.
completely gamebreaking bug has fully halted my progress in my current run, logs immediatley split but still register as logs and not firewood not allowing them to be loaded into the trailer, fix this immediatley
For me, it has made it so when I try to save/reload to pass time, it crashes the game completely. It only recently started doing this. At first, the mod functioned as intended. I couldn't figure out why my game was crashing every reload. I verified files, checked mod settings, then started disabling mods. The 2nd one I disabled was this one. Loaded up, saved, reloaded, boom! Worked like a charm. Re-enabled the other mod that I disabled and it was still working. Re-enabled this mod and it started crashing again. With my very limited knowledge of the engine and mod, I'd say that the log that is placed on the stump by default each time you load the game is causing a collision error since it's trying to split the moment it's spawned in. Or, something to that effect. For you, it's splitting the log model but not registering it as the new item (firewood) because it's trying to split as it loads in. At least your game isn't crashing, but it's still not working as intended. I'll stick to just stopping every so often to clear the stump. Hopefully, the author figures out a fix.
Both 1.20 and 1.21 bug out for me and the log splits in half instantly every time I click on the wood pile. Had to downgrade. I have like over 70 mods so I wouldn't be surprised if it was some type of conflict with one of those, but 1.1 works great.
Soo, i thought i had a gamebreaking bug as of this mod, yet after closer inspection it was actually about my own skill, I hope. Im gonna try it again from now on. Also, The mod is very nice, easier firewood :>
Btw for anyone as dumb as me, it isnt a bug when you hit the firewood but it still says its a "log", it means that you simply didnt hit it hard enough and from enough distance. Its basically a skill job, choppin i mean.
