The Dee Dee Stop mission was activated after I installed this mod, however the Blueprint and the Quest Post are completely missing from the Job Board. Is it possible this mod interferes with story missions?
Same issue here..i installed the mod before the Dee Dee quest started, only saw 1 Dee Dee transport commission.Currently in year 2, the issue is still there, can't progress at all.
Yes, I ran into the same issue. The Dee Dee Stop mission worked fine (I installed before that), but "Let There Be Light" & "The Bassanio Lift" missions could not have their story-related commissions posted causing them to stop in progress. I have submitted a bug report with the relevant information.
The only solution i found to make the work mod is to change to 15 max commision before taking any quest related mission so you have space for the 5 dee dee transport commission
Anyone found a solution without having to restart the game ? After I completed the Dee-Dee Transport System mission, the cutscene showing the fountain spewing bubbling green water played, but the Bassanio Lift commission doesn't ever show up :/
The same bug emerged in the hot spring, but finally found a solution in the developer's reply, here thanks to the developer, the original mod Settings menu click to select the task on the line, glad to have a solution
Sorry - I dont quite understand your explanation nor do I see the mod authors reply anywhere. Im wondering if using this mod to only be able to pick up more than one commerce order, not increase the amount that show up on the board, is safe or not. Has this issue been fixed at all or will this mod cause future commissions related to the story line to break? Again, will this cause those future commisions to break if I do not touch the amount of posts, but only use it to pick up 2 or 3 orders a day instead of the current games setting of only one per day?
Is is possible to use this mod not for having more commissions available but for being able to have more than one commission quest active at the time, and if so, what settings should I use? I do not want to touch the commission board at all, I just want to be able to pick one commission every day regardless of my pace of completing them.
Yes, it does, although not on its own - there are changes to the commission board like I said. My question was, again, if I can use that very feature without any changes to the commission board at the same time.
Another observation: orders tend to be quite repetitious: wooden pillars, waterproof lamps, leather belts, wicker baskets, and a few others EVERY DAY. Any chance of getting a bit more variety? Having to keep making the same 'ingredients' for these items is getting tedious.
There is a quite a variety, but I think some of the orders are more common than others. It would be a lot of work adding in variety, because different NPCs have different sets of items they can request. I can look into adjusting the rarity at least.
True, once you get to a certain point they become so repetitive. But I think this is more a request that should be directed towards the devs. An easy fix would be quantities. So if a "D" mission is craft one stone stool, it could become an "A" mission by requesting x10 stools, or something like that.
Is this just the game's official order list? I observed exactly the same set of items constantly being requested and was wondering if it was a bug with this mod. :)
Is the last mission you get from Gale (town of Portia)
Spoiler:
Show
A Boat to Starlight?
In order to have no issues, I would toggle the mod if I wanted to accept another commerce commission. I'd like to know when it would be safe to stop toggling.
I don't think the mod has any issues with quest commerce missions any more, that was a bug fixed a while ago, just the game limiting how many spaces the board had. There shouldn't be any such space limitations with this mod enabled.
I know, I was just being super cautious. I also wasn't accepting multiples until waaay later in the game, like literally end-game, so it wasn't a bother ('til then).
But to answer my own question, yes that was the last "official" mission.
Hey there. I've seen this mod... and I want to ask you, since you are already proficient in mods:
Could you make a mod whith two "fixes": a) increase the number of orders on the board to ~10 b) make it always give you 3 D, 3 C, 2 B and 2 A missions with like 1-2 S missions replacing one.
Why? I am pretty competative. And I beat my rivals in year 1 by >25% (10k higgins I have 12.5 k). This would make it so that they can always pick commisions on their level (higgins always A, the others at random, depending what is on the board)
You would make this game fun for competative ppl again and it shouldn't be that difficult, as far as I can tell.
I always found it weird that the long established Higgins would only take D missions until the story progresses further.
*edit* Just to make it clear: still only 1 commerce order per day. Because otherwise the game gets too easy ^^

If not, guess I have to start over. ><
Edit: Can confirm that the mission does not trigger after uninstalling, effectively breaking your save.
