The regera was nerfed by the devs. This mod does not change the performance of any cars, it just removes the hard cap on top speed. Just tested it myself, and I was able to achieve 482kmh with another car. You would need a mod that un-nerfs the regera to get it to go any faster.
Hey, i played the game a bit but it seems like your mod nerfed itself beforee hand it would let me go past 335 but now my top speeed is 335 and the vehicle i have is more then capable of going 500+. if i need to modify my own version of the mod please let me know, and if you can give me instructions how too
You claim your vehicle is capable of 500 MPH? Are you using mods to try and achieve that? Because no car in the game is capable of that.
Modifying my mod won't do anything the limit in this mod is set to 400MPH and you said it won't let you go past 335, you haven't even reached the limit of the mod, adjusting it won't do anything.
Yep which is why I said modifying my mod won't do anything because it is already set beyond 335. This limit might be from the engine itself hence why we can't find any way to change it. NFS Unbound interestingly has a lower limit that I found of 313. Both these limits are faster enough IMO, no need to go any faster.
i have gone past the said hard limit on a modded polestar 1 it was capable of reaching 453 mph which allowed me to go over the stadium and the only said reason why i was able to was your speed limiter remove mod
Yes I am sure, the previous limit in the files was 240 if that was KPH then it would 149MPH. Now obviously we can go faster than that in the vanilla game.
This mod does not change the performance of cars, it just removes the speed cap. So it is possible that some of the rival cars have the performance to be able to get higher speeds with this mod.
thanks for the mod, I can confirm that with UNITE mod the high heat races get harder, since the rivals become much faster (had to disable the mod to win with a slower car (aston martini dlc mission)
Hey Antiloser What exactely have u done to get rid of the speed limit? Because i tried changing the "TopSpeed" and "NitrousTopSpeed" values but it did not have any effect. Can u tell me what I am missing?
So, it looks like you changed the aerodynamicConfig files. That is only one part of it. You will also need to find these two files: levels/frontend/frontend/materialgrid_win32 levels/mainlevel/mainlevel/materialgrid_win32 In the file window go to filter(at top of file window, right below where it says properties) and type in speedlimit, this will help you find all the values you need to change. Change the SpeedLimitingDragStartSpeed and SpeedLimitingDragPeakSpeed to a value beyond what you want, 400MPH should be sufficient. You can change it to whatever you want. When you find values that are less than 200, those are the offroad limit values, you can choose to make those anything you want as well. You can make them the same as the normal values or leave it if you like the offroad limits.
I also have the project file here as well, you can take a look at that and see what I did.
I just have one more question. I now know how to remove the speedlimit thanks to u but I am wondering If I can change the grip levels on grass too, to the point that grass essentially becomes the streets. What I mean by that is simple. Everytime a car is on grass its speed is decreased and wheelspin is added. Do u know how I can change that so that grass and street have the same grip levels and the wheelspin gets removed? (I have already played around a bit with the grip levels of the ford gt and found out too high grip causes bugs lol. )
I haven't tried that yet, but in that same file with the speedlimiting thing there is another value called surface grip. Just search surfacegrip in the filter for that file and change them to 1(ie. 100% grip) I think that might do it.
So i found "PhysicsPropertyProperties" and changed all the values to 1 and it seems like i accelerate at the same rate then i do on the streets. But my controller is still vibrating, indicating that there is still wheelspin. Any Idea how to fix that?
Also do u know how to change the flip timer? (which in the base game sits at an annoying 10 seconds). I have tried searching for it (in frosty editor) but have not had any luck.
Also in game ur money is capped at 2 billion ish $. My guess is, that the money being an int. Now I have tried changing the type to a float or int64 Uint64 or Uint but everytime the game just chrashed. Do u know whats up with that?
Oh and btw do you know if I can change anything with the world border or kill/reset zones like the water?
Yeah, there's probably another file that controls the controller vibration, I haven't looked into that. You can probably turn it off in the options menu.
I haven't done anything with reset/out of bounds in Heat yet.
This mod does not change top speed, it simply removes the cap on top speed. Some cars will have their top speed increased with this mod but most won't. To get higher top speeds you will need another mod such as one that adds better engines to each car, or a mod that tweaks RPM, Redline and torque to get it higher.
it seems that my car gets to 540 km/h is that the absolute max or is it possible to get that higher, i tried everything but it just stops at 540.00 km/h
You already got higher than I did when testing it. It might be possible to higher, but you would have to mod the RPM and Redline of the car's engine in frosty editor.
I changed rpm, torque, redline, aerodynamics, and all the things I know that could change the topspeed. Still I have no idea how I what could get it higher and btw 400mph= 643km/h and 540.00km/h is around 335,5mph so if you got 400mph that would be insanely fast so would it be possible if I changed the values from levels/frontend/frontend/materialgrid_win32 and levels/mainlevel/mainlevel/materialgrid_win32
and is there a fast way to change all those values in the frontend and mainlevel maps, because it takes like really long to change all those values, especially if i try to experiment with it
The materialgrid files in this mod already have the speedcap at 400MPH so adjusting them further wouldn't help. There is no way to change the values in the frontend.
I think that the absolute max is 540kmh / 335.5 mph with frosty editor and btw I started messing with some things and made those backfire flames 10x longer without glitching
This mod does not make cars automatically go faster. This only removes the limit, some cars will be unchanged. If you want increased speed you will also need a performance mod or an engine swap mod.
You can also try placing this mod last in load order to give it priority.
