This is the only Boone appearance I use. I didn't mind his vanilla look, however, since using NVR2R it makes him look like he's in his 40s, when the man's only 26.

Endorsed, this is by far the best Boone mod out there. I really hated his look in FNVR3, so I simply replaced him with your great mod. Thank you.
Edit: After a few fights, I notices that Boone ran out of ammo, and that he was using a Hunting Shotgun instead of his Scoped Hunting Rifle! I fixed it by opening the console "~" selecting Boone so his ID is showing, then typed "additem 000ce549 1" without parenthesis, then typed "additem 00176e54 99999999". This basically adds his weapon and a large amount of Magical Companion Ammo to his inventory, and he is using it to fight our enemies now. In case anyone was wondering how to fix this. :)
The NE (non-essential) version simply doesn't work. I downloaded only that (so I'm definitely not using both together) and still get the message "boone is unconscious" after putting a bullet through his head.
I enjoy New Vegas playing several kinds of personas, one at a time. The first time of course I wanted to cover everything, but in this last one, already knowing the story, I'm playing as the most psychotic sadistic personal killer possible. My plan all along was to make the whole journey with Boone as "best friends" and, right after putting an end to his dilemma, put also an end to his life.
It took quite a while and effort to accomplish that (the only way was disguised as an NCR soldier, given how many of them I had killed), and now the feeling of frustration is huge.
Can you please help, give me some advice in the mod load order or something? Thanks in advance.
aka the only mod ever that doesn't slap a beard on boone or make him look forty. dude's 26 and this is the only mod that reflects that. plus, y'know, making him hot doesn't hurt either.
Good: He looks more badass and finally goodbye to awkward-face.
Bad: Suddenly he looks waaaaay to young. He definitely needs a three day beard or at least some face shadow to emulate growing hair.
EDIT: The mod provides one BIG problem, it makes Boone essential no matter what. He threatens to leave me because I was an enemy of the NCR the first time I spoke with him in a while, he was in my Novac motel room by the moment, my player house for that character. I choose to attack him on dialogue and try to kill him, but the mod prevents it and he stays hostile. I get out, deactivate the mod, get in, kill him again, then quit, reactivate mod and enter again. He was resurrected, and again, hostile the whole time.
EDIT 2: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I just dismember the fucker with a board machete and then applied dine and dash with the improved cannibal perk mod (which totally devastates the body), then exit, reactivate your mod, and reenter the game. After a while I returned home and here some weird noises, the body of boone, still completely destroyed, was starting to move, Boone voices was heard in the room and shoots did get to me, but he was still dead. That piece of skin you see next to his foot is actually his decapitated head with the 1st recon beret still, but in this picture it was hidden behind the floor. This abomination of Boone, with the severed limbs attach around him chased me as far as Gibson Scrap Yard shooting at me, where I finally manage to escape from him. SOmewhere in that save, that creepy bastard is around town still, waiting for me.
I would agree that it was a hilarious moment, but yet, pretty fucked up for the mod to not have in consideration the fact that not all players would love to have an un-killable Boone capable of returning from the dead no mater what. Specially since there several vanilla scenarios where he becomes hostile to the player. Even changing to the game to hardcore does nothing, the mod just turns him into essential, 100% of the time, no matter what, he´s essential.
There are two versions of the mod; did you download the regular version or the NE (non-essential) one? If the non-essential version is broken, I'll have to re-install New Vegas before I can look at it.

I mean he's suppose to be in his late 20s and he is on a roll of collecting Legion heads. The least that could have been done was make him look a bit more attractive and young. Anyways I love this mod and how it doesn't drastically change his looks. Thank you!!!
