VERSION: QUIZNAK - THE COMBINED MOD-MANAGER FRIENDLY PACKS!
Now finally available as the 'Ojo Bueno Texture Pack' in combined single-file mod-manager-friendly downloads! These also now include the Ojo Bueno Nuka-Cola Vending Machine mod, previously only available as a separate download.

    TEXTURE PACK RELEASES:
    - Ojo Bueno Texture Pack - ULTRA - Uses 2.1GB of VRAM / Recommended for 4GB+ graphics cards.

    - Ojo Bueno Texture Pack - HIGH - Uses 1.6GB of VRAM / Recommended for 3GB+ graphics cards.

    - Ojo Bueno Texture Pack - PERFORMANCE - Uses 1.1GB of VRAM / Recommended for 2GB+ graphics cards.

    - For graphics cars with less than 2GB of VRAM, see the Poco Bueno Texture Pack

    - Various a-la-carte packs in the Old Files section (requires manual download)

    VENDING MACHINE UPDATE!

Updated the Ojo Bueno vending machine textures so that they look good together, day or night! Previously the SS machine was WAY too dark, and the Nuka machine was WAY too bright ... now both are just RIGHT!

See the 'Updates' section for the downloads, and click the image below for a larger version:

vendingmachine.nif is the one that hurt my 60 fps. It's the TV, fan, and maybe some other stuff. I don't know.

I'm gonna reference another post I found that resolved this issue for me :

WARNING, WARNING. The vending machine included IS VERY bad. With no enb it bring fps from 110 to 72 fps. With enb it went down to around 30 - 45 fps. It is easily fixed.

      FIX:
      https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzB44gUBcd60SW9vOGZhREdqUEU/view
if download dies search Ojo Bueno Nuka-Cola 2K Lite Meshes PyFFI Optimised.7z

I hold no responsibility for creation of the fix or for finding it.

Nice looking mod. Too bad i could not get it to work with NMCS. Turn my crates and parts of mailbox's in to colorful static. Don't know if it affect anything else since i haven't left goodsprings yet. I was using Vortex to install them.

Don't ever mod this game manually. NEVER. Use MO2 or at least Vortex. Never mod this game manually. You can look up viva new vegas and learn how to mod this game. NEVER MOD FNV MANUALLY.

Hi, is there a way to keep all the textures but change the face of Victor to default? Not a fan of this bright coloured version.

    thanks.

I've discovered some weird behavior involving this mod. Readers, take whatever you wish from this information because I freely confess that I broke the cardinal rule of investigating with all other mods disabled!

After preparing a ginormous mod list that included precision conflict resolution in xEdit and starting a new game, I was experiencing constant crashes in Goodsprings. Mundane activities ─ like entering buildings, closing the barter menu with Chet, and even just walking through town ─ were causing crashes. My mod list includes many overahuls like Tale of Two Wastelands, landscape overhauls like Vurt's Flora Overhaul and and Enhanced Landscapes, and graphical improvements like NMC's Texture Pack, Interior Lighting Overhaul, Precision Collision,  and Windows of the Mojave. So basically, a lot of junk that adds a lot of triangles and chews up a lot of memory. I can stop the crashes entirely by leaving my mods mostly intact and only disabling Ojo Bueno.

Testing included starting a new game and completing various activities around Goodpsrings, including the quests Back in the Saddle, By a Campfire on the Trail, and Ghost Town Gunfight with various combinations of mods activated. I only experienced crashes when Ojo Bueno was active. Moreover, if I start a game without Ojo Bueno active, save it, activate Ojo Bueno, and load that save, I get a TTW pop-up message warning me that the 4 gigabyte patch isn't installed even though it is.

Otherwise, I have no reason to suspect that the mod doesn't work as intended. I'm almost completely certain that my particular combination of mods is responsible and that the crashes are not Ojo Bueno's fault. I'm providing this information in case it helps other players who are experiencing bizarre crashes with extensive mod lists and can't figure out why.

just use vortex or mod manager, that way u can easily install or uninstall (depends on mod) any mods u like/don't like.

Not sure why but this mod causes me to crash when used with NMCs. However, this issue didn't appear until 8~ hours into a playthrough, when I reached Jacobstown. After reaching Jacobstown, whenever I loaded a new cell (fast travel or walking) it crashed. Below is the crash log

This doesn't affect NPCs my dude. Must be a conflict with other mods that affect NPCs.

You probably have NVAC and an AMD Graphics Card. Any driver version from this year fails to compile shaders for Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3. Your card fails to compile shaders, normally this is where the game would crash, but since you have NVAC installed, it won't. The game runs anyway, and your NPC's are missing stuff.

They actually pair well together. Most Youtube mod guides recommend both. They have a lot of similar changes, some better than others, but mostly to your own opinion. So you'll have to pick and choose them when they come up in conflicts. I suggest looking up guides that go more into detail. The channel I learned it from 5yrs ago no longer exists sadly. But I did find where Gopher mentioned both in his video guide. You can switch around the textures to find your likings by clicking Manage Rules in Vortex and finding those same conflict Files (i.e. OJO vs NMC) and switching them from before/after. I suggest OJO before NMC if you are having the vending machine problem and you have a older rig; I suggest OJO after NMC if you have a good rig because it adds more color and vibrance to the game. Video linked below. Enjoy! 16:19 on video.

TL:DR / Suggested (IMO) - Load both mods of your preference size. Load OJO BEFORE NMC for a more vanilla look. Load OJO AFTER NMC for more color and vibrance.

And if you're looking for a fairly decent updated mod list, try this. The videos he does are more of a showcase than a mod guide or recommended list, so remember that. Try not to bloat your mod list too much.
