With these mods the 2 skills of your choice will be kept at an identical level. If you upgrade one of them the other will quickly be updated via a script to follow. This will work for skill upgrades that modify the base value such as leveling or reading a skill book. It will NOT work on temporary boosts such as skill magazines or equipment bonus

1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

1. Extract to Fallout New Vegas/Data and enable the version you
want in the Fallout New Vegas Launcher.

2. Mod Description

*****************************************************************

WARNING: Backup your saved games. This mod changes the values
for skills and i will not be held responsible if it screws up
your game. Having said that i have tested it pretty thoroughly
and i believe its safe enough to use on my own saves.

There are 3 seperate versions for this mod and you should enable
ONLY the ones you want. Below are the details.

LFox Skills Combined Guns and Energy.esp
- Combines the Guns and Energy Weapons Skills

LFox Skills Combined Melee and Unarmed.esp
- Combines the Melee and Unarmed Skills

LFox Skills Combined Speechcraft and Barter.esp
- Combines the Speechcraft and Barter Skills

The Long Explanation
********************

There has been alot of talk for TES Skyrim where the Mercantile
and Speechcraft skill are probably going to get merged. This
got me thinking why are they seperate for the Fallout games?

You can con raiders, confuse casino goons and even talk down
trigger happy brotherhood of steel members. Hell you could
probably convince a man dying of thirst to give you his last
bottle of water. However your silver tongued devil is about as
good at trading as an idiot trying to sell sand in a desert.

And that is how the Speechcraft and Barter version came about.
Of course then someone asked for the Melee and Unarmed skills
to be combined and before someone asked i decided to do
Guns and Energy weapons as well while i was at it.

Q: lol this mod is a cheat/overpowered/stupid
A: Yeah, seriously just go away. We have mods to add perks
every level, make leveling quicker and all sorts of things.
If you don't like it just shut up and don't use it.

Q: Why don't skill magazines boost both skills when you use
them?
A: I thought about it and it actually makes more sense not to
change them. A magazine talking about fair trading prices
isn't going to help you talk down that guy with a shotgun in
your face.

Q: Okay so why do skill books increase both skills?
A: Yeah, look i gotta put the line somewhere. I could rename
the barter and speechcraft books in some way but that's just
extra work and causes conflicts with other mods so just go
with it.
