For those of you who are debating on downloading this mod install this one instead, Monster Mod is highly outdated and causes Crashes, this mod fixes it. Follow the instructions listed in the description.
If you think this is outdated, you'd have heart attack when seeing state of Marts Mutant Mod (also boar is taken from there lol). Any outdated mod can be solved (more or less) with xEdit
For those wanting to download this mod, don't just don't, I don't know if it's just me that experienced this, but after downloading the mod, I just crash and after that, the game won't run, I tried deleting in everyway possible but can't, i couldn't even unmanaged this file, essentially this file became somewhat like a malware that you cant get rid off, the only way i could do get rid of it was to uninstall new vegas to force vortex to unmanaged it and delete my account to get rid of it
It sounds more like you just didn't install this mod correctly and messed up your own installation. Also Vortex is just an awful mod manager to use in general.
oh boy I love having to take on waves of highly aggressive super fast extremely tanky enemies that can 2-shot you, can hear you sneaking in light armor a mile away and are seemingly immune to sneak attacks at level 4 in REPCONN! awful mod, don't install
I never have a problem with the combat - you get to know the creatures and learn what kills them (like Mark II weapons from AWOP and a high crit %. 5mm hunting rifle with AP ammo will negate so much DT it's like getting a crit with every shot). The only real issue I have is with the broken meshes on some creatures, such as the wasps which causes their corpses (or pieces of - in the case of some ghoul type enemies) to cause crashing. I'm using the older version though that still has all the removed stuff. Fixed a lot of the invisible monster problems by correcting the filepaths to the nif files in fnvedit. I wonder if some of the nifs have been fixed in any of the newer versions or the 'alternative' lite versions. It's been on ongoing project for me for years putting the pieces together. Overall I love this mod and along with the old Angel Park remix and AWOP it makes the game crazy strange in a way I would not want to play without.
Did you add this mod while playing on an existing save or did you download it and are playing on a new game? Also, this mod hasn't been updated since 2014. It's been 11 years now, so of course, there will be a decade worth of problems that are probably conflicting with other mods. If you have other mods installed, of course.
