How does the investment system work? Do the prices of the share fluctuate based on changes in the world? For example would the Gommorah shares tank, after Big Sal and Nero is killed, and Cachino is in charge? Or would Tops tank after Benny flees? Realistically it should, cause top brass going missing like that is bound to produce uncertainty, risk and chaos. Are these implemented, or do the share prices just move at random? Thanks!
You can get a butt ton of money, especially if you have another mod that generates the capital for you to invest initially (such as Run The Lucky 38). Just keep reinvesting all your dividends (that show up every 2 weeks in your bank account (level b1) and then reinvest it on the main floor. I go with Crimson Caravan, Gun Runners, Van Graffs and Vault 21. Buy when the stock price falls though Gun Runners and Van Graffs seem to steadily increase and rarely drop and if they do than not by much. And it's entirely random as far as I can tell. But it doesn't matter really. Never sell your stocks. Even if they fall in value they will go back up. You will never end up with worthless investments. Where I am I get 3 million caps every two weeks. I can buy everything at this point. I recall a playthrough from something like 10 years ago where I was a billionaire.
Hey guess what, Genuis, "Overprotection" is still bugged. You lose karma for picking the locks to install the modules. I saw you updated the mod a few versions ago back in 2011 and claimed that that bug was fixed. Its not. I don't know why you'd revert that change.
In console: player.rewardkarma (positive integer value to raise, negative integer for lowering) Actually I would just look for a karma overhaul mod (if there is one).
Great mod. But I seem to have a problem finishing the optional part in the quest On Air. I can't get to repair the Network Dish because it doesnt show me any interaction possibilites. I was were the quest marker pointed at in the Senstitive Electronics room but no option available so I figured it must be above that point on the roof maybe. But then both ladders say Inaccessible.
maybe im too late, but, you just take the "satellite thing" on the room that include lot of scrap metal and scrap electronic and put the thing on the "satellite stand" thing on the sensitive electronic room,, just press E button on your keyboard, the prompt wont appear, maybe its a bug.. kudos
Very interesting mod but a little disappointed by my inability to put the sierra madre gold bars into my savings account. Also, do you ever unlock the data for groups like the ciphers and the institute, or are they just references with no gameplay effects?
Love this mod. With civilization, businesses, and commerce now a big part of the Mojave especially in the Strip & Freeside, it's nice that there's now an actual running bank to regulate the local economy.
I know it's not going to happen but they should add bonds, t-bills, and debt-based financing/investing options. Also, it would be sick to add historical yearly financial reports for the companies or at least the ratios like ROI, ROE/ROA, WACC, CAPM, and inventory turnover. It would be pretty sick.

The mod is 13 years old, if it's broken it is clearly up to players to fix at this point.

But both mods don't conflict - both entrances function properly.
