    So what had happened was.....

    I made a typo and somehow set the ForwardKey value to the autowalk key. Very bad. Sorry about that anyone who downloaded version 1.0. Download 1.1 and all is well.

    Thanks for this. It is essential for getting a controller layout to work properly with the outer ring bound to the auto-walk key. I was getting so frustrated, I installed the game and the Two Wastelands mods, but the 'auto-walk' tweak it provided just wasn't good enough, it failed to work or just kept cutting out. I went most of the game just manually switching between walk and run with the caps key. Then it dawned on me, there must be a mod. So installed this, and it now works just like in Fallout 4, and I can modulate my speed with how far i push the joystick (without resorting to inferior controller specific bindings, i want my number hotkeys and mouse cursor, since I am using a Steam Controller, and such)

    I'll give it a go. Came to New Vegas after F4, so having to constantly push forward when looking sideways while walking/running and finding I had stopped cold was a real pain in the arse. I presume that there are no problems if I have rekeyed auto-move to something else . . . ?

    As others have pointed out, this does not work unfortunately.

    Hitting 'Q' after loading the game for the first time after installing (assuming loading the first save after you start the game has the same effect) made me walk but when I strafe using 'A' or '\D' it stops me and hitting 'Q' again (same result if I hit 'S' to stop auto-walking) will now do nothing at all even if I hit my 'S' key to I guess reset the script.

    Also, hitting 'Q' to stop auto-walking after the initial push of 'Q' to start auto-walking doesn't stop me from auto-walking.

    Neat. If you don't hear back from me, all is well and an endorsement is on its way!

    Edit: Tested a bit, I can autorun once after loading, but pressing A or D cancels the autorun, and then afterwards pressing Q does nothing in game or in the keymapper.

    I'm just going to assume that there's something on my end not triggering properly, as I've had similar problems with mods that change things based on scripts attached to quests that others don't experience, but I did try reinstalling NVSE just to be sure...

    @Gribbleshnibit8,

    Just a friendly FYI... you have a misspelling in the mod title.Auotwalk should be Autowalk.
