Any update on this mod working? I tried to install thru Vortex but the esp doesn't show in the plugins. I know it's been 3 years since someone last commented but wondering if someone found a workaround.
For some odd reason this mod doesn't work with Vortex, at least in my experience. The armor doesn't show up with just the base file, and you have to download some optional files for it to show up, and when you craft it the textures on the armor are broken. But if you download and install the mod manually it works just fine.
The color of the outfit is determined by what texture files you used when downloading this mod. In order to get the brown one, make sure that you manually downloaded this mod. After extracting the contents from the mod onto a location of your choice ( I just do it in my desktop), you're supposed to move the contents into your New Vegas data folder and pick one set of textures to replace the original textures (which are green by default). The author has instructions on this page and if I remember correctly there is a README included with the mod file, which should help you.
I know this mod came out a long time ago but it is still great and is one of my favorite armors to use. It looks cool and fits in perfectly for the "Wastelander" feel.
it is fully playable without a female mesh lad now my question is Guys why do you honestly play as female characters? is it to watch the *&% scenes or for better stats or what? #ImSurroundedByTrogs "Hence fourth but why am I crying after all Im not afraid of dieing"
"(Female version is possibly in the works. Currently the female version just uses the male body type variant. I find that there are way more female clothes and armors than male versions, and since I never play as a female then I tend to work more with the male armor)"
I installed this when I saw this line, but when I equipped the armor I just had a floating head and pipboy. While I agree with the mod-creator's assertion that there are way more female clothes, they are often light and "sexy" (read: hardly even clothing). I was looking forward to running around with a sensible set of crafted armor.
