Vault 66 was one of the 122 underground vaults constructed by the Enclave before the beginning of the Great War in 2077. Beginning construction in August 2060, it finished on May 4th 2073. Vicksburg, Mississippi was the chosen location for this vault, despite receiving most of its funds from Biloxi casinos in deals with Vault-Tec. Although completed 4 years before the beginning of the Great War, the U.S. government couldn't immediately decide on its experimental purpose, as it wasn't designed to become a control vault.
Eventually, on December 21st, 2076, an agreement was made on the vault's purpose for the social experiment. Dr. Mary Layne, one of the prominent members of Vault Tec and a closet incest enthusiast, won control of the vault and set her own purpose for the Vault. Under her orders, the vault would only allow incestuous relationships, sex, and reproduction. Any non-incestuous marriages and bonds would be intentially broken by only allowing groups of biological family members into the vault's doors. In order to promote incest to the new vault dwellers, Dr. Layne used subliminal messages and other propaganda to indoctrinate them towards the idea.
Beginning YearsEdit Initially, no one suspected the vault's odd relationship standards, but once all 1000 occupants entered, Dr. Layne began to give room assignments. Normally the vault dwellers would have just rebelled or left, but they didn't want to risk getting kicked out of the vault into the nuked wasteland by their despotic Overseer. Not only did the fear of exile presuade them to willing adopt this lifestyle, but so did the constant subliminal messaging and propaganda. Eventually, they grew fond on these new pairings, forming polygamous relationships, claiming this kind of intimacy brought loved ones closer than ever before. Parental incest became common, and thus the role of adults towards their children broadened. With such deep sexual trust, children almost never rebelled or even left their parents, and many times grew up to fill the same professions and duties they did during their youth. Dr. Layne's heart skipped at her perceived utopia.
The Problems For The WastelandEdit However, Vault 66 would pose several issues to the surrounding wastelands. Incest causes many possible genetic defects due to the inbreeding of similar DNA, something which Dr. Layne overlooked in her mad lust. Over time, the vault dwellers grew heightened intelligence and physical strength solely out of luck, but the inbreeding turned them into violent imperialists. By the time the Enclave confirmed that they were allowed to leave in 2167, the 80 years of constant incest formed a philosophy that others who refuse to procreate with family members were somehow sick individuals. Since Dr. Layne had passed 10 years prior, the new Overseer became John Layne, son and grandson of Dr. Layne. As they left the Vault, he assumed the title of Hive Father, claiming the title due his fascination with bees. (which he claims are also incestuous because the queen is the only one reproducing over and over again with her former offsprings.)
Once the vault dwellers of Vault 66 entered the new world, they dubbed themselves a new name. Forming a modernistic society with the set up of a tribe, they named themselves the Bloodmelders. The Bloodmelders began to attack other settlements, forcing them into their lifestyle or simply murdering them if they refused for their resources and towns. Since they had access to pristine armor due to the Pre-War roots, factors such as lack of blood clotting and numbers didn't matter, as most Mississippi wastelanders were backwater prospectors, tribals, and farmers armed with pitchforks and outdated rifles. To this day, the Bloodmenders of Vault 66 control much of Mississippi, Alabama, and Western Florida. Their numbers are estimated from a few hundred thousand to almost a few million, assuredly due to their promiscuity and jingoism.

^Might want to change the vault number to something else, preferably something in the low mid 20's to make more sense regionally.
So uh... Vault 66 and incest? Okay so I guess it possibly breaks the lore of the fallout world, however I could reinvent the mod's story to include something in regard to this. A misinterpretation or the typical corrupted database base that leaves the adventurers to believe it is a vault that it isn't? I don't know, thanks for the fallout lore history lesson though... Very enlightening.
Or you could just simply change the vault number to something in the low to mid 20's, like Vault 20, 23, 24(I think there's already a mod with that vault number), 25, etc?
I'll take it under advisement, I actually hoped that there wasn't any mention of Vault 66 but now... well it would seem that I will need to reconsider soooooooooo much lol thanks again for your feedback.
actually this vault was designedas a control vault but aparently incest is a control variable. plus totally lore friendly however i like you vault 66 better theres no mother and child fucking.
So i have the Willow, baby deathclaw, and unlimited companions mod installed on my game. All of which work in perfect tandem to each other. When I load this mod up though and then try to start the game it instantly crashes before even getting to the main menu screen, does anyone have any suggestions? I want to try this mod but at the same time I'd rather not have to disable the other companion mods.
Played through the whole thing. I'm a bit underwhelmed. I exited the vault and the quest just... stopped, just when I expected it to pick up.
You're also desperately in need of a proofreader. The notes and dialogue are full of spelling errors and incorrect grammar. Alice is also pretty bland. The dialogue where you ask her about her background in particular just feels like a massive info dump that has no bearing on the story at hand.
All in all, this feels like the first or second draft of what could become a good mod. I'll keep watching.
If you want, I can also edit your dialogue/notes for you. Just pm me the text and I'll weed out the grammatical and spelling errors for you. I can also help you make the whole thing sound more natural. Good luck.
Edit : Is there a particular reason for you not using the companion wheel system for Alice ? It's far superior to using dialogue from a user's point of view.
Thanks for the feedback, I am aware of most of the issues you have pointed out and already have a fine tuning overhaul coming with version 2.0, I would like to mention that though I am aware of these issues regarding dialogue and notes. Some of the Grammar, punctuation and spelling could be a result of different nationality backgrounds. What one may see as acceptable another may see a spelling error like color/colour, realise/realize, gray/grey etc.
I'll also consider your proposal for much larger brain draining parts of the mod, I have full intention to have this teeny, tiny mod turn into something that will give a good couple of hours gameplay so that is where you could come in handy lol.
As for the companion wheel. I didn't incorporate the companion wheel because as a personal preference that utility didn't appeal to me but that gives me an idea to add a two version choice, classic and companion wheel version.
Over all though I do appreciate your feedback and hope to have some surprising results for you.

Seems like that would be the easy thing to do.
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Vault
Known Vaults list (numbered only); 0, 3, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 27, 29, 34, 36, 42, 43, 53, 55, 56, 68, 69, 70, 76, 77, 87, 92, 101, 106, 108, and 112. Also some other known numbered vaults that are non-canon; 6, 24, 39, 74, and 100.
There are other vaults listed that have no numbers, these just have a name like Burkittsville Vault in Maryland, it's cut content from Fallout 3.
Vault 25 is a mod already here on Nexus, http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46375/?
Hope it helps, and I would suggest vault 26, hehe no particular reason. I searched and saw no mods for any of the fallout games named 26.
