If you are having issues installing and/or getting this plugin to work:
If you acquired the game from bethesda.net, or are using the German language, NoGore game version, please be advised these versions of the game are not supported!
And narrowed it down to UIO, it's mods that modify the health bar, AP bar, or Hardcore needs in some way. For me it was "Rad - Radiation (is) Actually Dangerous)" that decreases your health the higher your radiation is. I suspect it's UIO having silent conflicts with other UI mods like "Loot Menu" or "Just Assorted Mods".
Remove HP / AP / Hardcore stat modifying mods that interfere with the HUD one by one until you find the culprit.
For me, as of right now ui's such as lockpicks and caravan won't show up; they're invisible. I did a fresh install of NVSE (ver 6), have x86 c++ installed, and manually installed. Any ideas?
I don't know if you ever fixed this but I had the same problem. I switched from Vortex to MO2 and moved that Mod higher up in the priority list. All the text boxes returned after that.
For whatever reason this mod was causing all text boxes to appear empty. I switched from Vortex to MO2 and moved that Mod higher up in the priority list. Ta da, the text boxes are now back. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
Is anyone else getting a thin red vertical line in the middle of their health bar? Removing UIO seems to get rid of it, but it's always there if reinstalled
hey guys i have this obscure problem nobody else seems to have, and it looks like you have it too judging by the fact that you've come across this thread. edit: nvm i fixed it
So where exactly do we manually place files for a mod, when one mod overwrites the same files????
Nobody mentions this anywhere.
I have DarnUI from ModDB working fine with MCM. It explicitly says not to allow MCM overwrite anything. Fine. That works.
But I want to add Arwen's Tweaks and her files seem specific in the xml files. Well what do I do? They use the same files but have different stuff written in the xml files.
Like nobody seems to talk about this. I use latest FOMM and I have no desire to add MO.
edit: UIO is already installed. I mean, where do I unpack Arwens files and how do they mix with Darn and MCM??
I, and countless others use this just fine. Or rather, we installed it, and it works so damn well that we forget we even had it installed... I didn't even remember that putting together half a dozen UI mods would not work if not for this... A testament to the feat this mod achieved.
You only need to install NVSE properly. So that nvse_loader.exe is in Fallout New Vegas/. Not in Fallout New Vegas/Data/. Which is why you need to install it manually by dropping the contents of the archive in Fallout New Vegas/. Once this is done, you simply have to install UIO with a functional Mod Manager. That is the simplest thing.
Nah it literally doesn't work, been having the same issue with it simply not working no matter how "simple" it is to install. Don't be an asshole because you're lucky.
I've donwloaded this mod, but when using it with the Vanilla UI+ (which i've put at the bottom of the mod list in MO2) VUI+ tells me i have an old version of UIO. Any idea what might be happening?
Says I have an old version of UIO when I launch the game even though I installed the latest version. A couple of mods I like depend on this one, anyone know a fix?
Hi, i downloaded an older version of Vanilla UI Plus and the popup doesn't appear for me anymore. Altough now im trying to figure out how to not get my game to crash.
i do it, some how all the menus in my game just collapse pretty hard to choose when you cant see the options below... but i dont give up and find a solution, make sure the last thing you install is Darnified. edit
edit: sorry bro that worked yesterday but not today...

Actually, I just came across this thread because you bumped to the top again.
Fortunately, I already fixed this problem long ago, and I'd tell everyone how I fixed it, but it's been so long that I forgot.
How do I use the UI Font Scaling?
