Method #1: 1. Look up the plugin index for Mojave Travel.esp in your mod manager. 2. Get the motorcycle note by opening the console with ~ and entering addnote xx006432, where xx is the plugin index (e.g. 31006432). 3. prid xx00614c 4. moveto player
Method #2: 1. tai 2. coc PrimmCentral 3. Make a left and head to motorcycle outside the gas station. Grab the note and anything else you might want. 4. coc Springvale 5. tai 6. prid xx00614c 7. moveto player
Confirmed, works like a charm with TTW in Capital Wasteland. Also with all DLCs as long as you're in exterior cell near fast travel marker with Vehicle Recall Tool in inventory. This mod as amazing.
95% sure that you'll need to SetPersistant the motorcycle for method 1. As much as I like this mod, it's been a general headache getting it to work in DC without doing something ala method 2 - hopefully someone better with CK than me will make a proper patch eventually.
For the love of god, do not use console commands in your game. They will break shit. In fact the TTW FAQ SPECIFICALLY TELLS YOU not to coc to the mojave because it needs to set specific variables and quests. Can you not read?
100 hours into a TTW playthrough where I've used countless commands. Never had an issue. Perhaps try things out for yourself before blindly believing everything you read
Would love to see this updated one day. Like a fix to make it work when fast travel is disabled, and a unique model like the cool Lone Wanderer bike model BaleBandr0 is working on or something.
Mod works perfectly except for one thing, it doesn't disable fast travel. I'd have to manually disable it but that doesn't really work because this is a temporary solution, the game resets this value when I relaunch the game. It's annoying to type the command every single time I lunch the game. I've looked for other ways to get around that like making it so the game automatically enters the command for me when the game is launched (like in Fallout 4) but it seems that FNV doesn't have that functionality.
This might not be relevant anymore but I had the same problem and found a workaround on the geckwiki, just lookup geckwiki enablefasttravel for in-depth information but to summarize.
In the console command enter EnableFastTravel 0 0 1 and then EnableFastTravel 0 0 0
"Doing these two commands in this order will result in the player being unable to fast-travel and unable to wait, and this will persist even if the player changes cells. Effectively, the second function call is ignored." -geckwiki
First of all, thanks for the great mod, I really enjoy using it. However, one small tweak can improve it, in my opinion. It would be fairly easy to rename the transponder into a "Vehicle Remote Control" and make it use a semi-random (or depending on distance) amount of small energy cells instead of caps. In fact, I've done it myself and it makes this mod's integration pretty much seamless. I hope you will consider this change when (if) the next update comes. Happy trails!
wow, that your idea sounds totally awesome! how did you change the cost from caps to energy cells? i want to have that feature as well but i'm not very familiar to modding..
I have the, "Better New Vegas" mod installed, which adds a bunch of new buildings and slightly changes the environment of several locations. The Primm gas station is still in the game, but I cannot find the bike anywhere. Is there some incompatibility issue or am I just being dumb by not finding it?
