I don't know, can you try and report here? I'm currently not into New Vegas and the video link in kNVSE changelog lead to my video, so I'm not sure. If this bug is finally fixed on the engine level, this is really great news! I wonder if automatic weapon sound problems with guns like minigun or gatling which are actually also animation tied are fixed too.
I've tried reproducing the bugs with only kNVSE enabled, and they all seems to be fixed. Sadly, the sounds problem for automatic weapons are still present.
Thanks for a report, I'll edit the description when I get home since this mod seems redundant now. It's a shame that automatic weapons bug still isn't fixed at the engine level, but I think now it's just a matter of time, people who work on kNVSE are very talented.
hello heroinzero, there is a similar issue when one sprints and stops sprinting from the mod: "just vanilla sprint", which is also included in Just Assorted Mods
If it's about floating movement then it shouldn't appear in Just Vanilla Sprint, I remember looking through its code and there was control disabling solution similar to the one I've used in older versions of this mod which should work unless used w/ gamepad.
This mod simply fixes the old engine bug with looping reloads, it doesn't touch anything else. If you want to add custom reload animations to new weapons then recently it became possible, thanks to kNVSE plugun. Now you may either wait until someone creates these animation files or create them yourself using Blender.
Well I guess if you don't have the bug then you don't need the fix, right? :) It's easy to spot, try to reload affected guns on the move.
I vague remember that back in 2017 someone integrated my fix into their patch, however last year I updated my fix to add controller and autowalk support so maybe it's still worth installing if you use these, but you must disable similar fix in another mod or they may or may not conflict and not work right.
Oh, and I've also added reload count exploit fix, but now it's also included in Stewie's tweaks so you can simply enable it there.
