   so if you want to use this mod via vortex you have to rename the main file....manually. only issue so far though

   ah such a shame for me, I don't use PN anymore. so yeah, really wanted to try this out. either way, this is really cool ideas for implementing the weapon mods into crating section where you don't have to visit every trader to find ur favorite gun mods, sometimes it's annoying when you go to the trader they didn't even sell the mods you want lol.

      oh sorry, I should have made it first just for vanilla and then merged the PN changes... my mistake. But yeah, this makes the weapon mods more accessible, and give a lot more value to the junk you find through the wastes. I have another mod called Armor System Overhaul, wich has a similar idea, but for armor parts.

   I take it the lack of an extended magazine for the Sniper Rifle is an oversight?

      yes it's possible, someday.... Personally I don't use wmx but I could create a compatibility patch with no problem but for now I will only include small patches for some weapon mods... later when I get more free time I will work more on this.
