Just a quick sticky on my intentions moving forward based on some of the comments.
I'm currently planning on first covering companions covered by vanilla CCC, then moving onto modded content, Someguy's quest mods, Beyond Boulder Dome and New California being the big 3 as far as I'm concerned. I'll probably get to New California last just because I know the next release before 1.0 is meant to be very companion focused and I'd rather not have to revise anything if I can help it.
Next I want to create versions that match the primary HUD and Pip-Boy colours for that extra level of uniformity. I know that the CCC elements aren't affected by the HUD/Pip-Boy colour filter so I plan to recolour the avatars and then make a separate download for each of the HUD colours. I'll probably get around to this it once I've drawn up all of the avatars I intend to so that I can do them in bulk.
EDIT: In case anyone hadn't realised with how long it's been since release and update, I'm no longer working on this lil guy. Sorry if this disappoints anyone, I may come back and remake something similar from the ground up in the distant future but haven't used JIP CCC since my play through back in 2019 so not hugely likely. In the meantime anyone can feel free to use what I've made with or without credits as the basis of anything they like, permission is now completely open.
Please update your mod! - love the avatars, but this mod does not support standard/proper MOD-Manager like MO2
Install instructions do NOT work when the CCC-Mod is properly installed via Mod-Manager! Why put them in the root\data folder? Why not use the CCC INI (CCC has an extra "ccc_avatars.ini") or even better: Use the "The Mod Configuration"-Mod, CCC alredy uses it ... Putting the Files in my root\data Folder is really BAD and breaks the use of Mod-Managers, hope you provide an update, thanx :))
Man! This is one of my essential mods, I love the Vault Boy style avatars, they blend perfectly with the game. Is there a chance that you can post or point me to a tutorial? I would gladly help you design the avatars for the rest of companions added by other mods. Thanks!
Not sure if it helps, but did a few for my personal use that I've uploaded, and then added a few additional companion mods Vault boy CCC Icons - Misc Companion Mods
Any way you could tell me how the inner working of this works so i can finish up the icons for most NPCs in FO3 for TTW? I went into the ini and it seems simple enough but idk if that's the extent of it or if im missing something.

Thanks for the great work anyhow!
