    PLEASE READ

    Q. Can this be installed midsave?
    A. Installing this mod midsave can and probably will result in issues. For a best experience, a new save is recommended. For those that just want to try out the mod, a post Broken Steel save file made with RtC is provided in the optional files.

    To quote Viva New Vegas on installing mods midsave:
    Unless specified otherwise, this is not advised since your save files are essentially a plugin that is loaded last, baked information can override and break any changes new mods introduce, causing bugs and crashes. Mods such as textures and mesh replacements are fine.

    Q. Can I use mods with the post Broken Steel save file?
    A. I wouldn’t install content, quests or overhaul mods if you are using the post Broken Steel save file to test out the mod. This includes mods that RtC has patches.

    Q. Is RtC compatible with…
    A. Due to the size of the mod, I recommended keeping your load order light unless you want to spend time xEdit making patches. RtC sticks its fingers into a lot of cells so conflicts should be expected with larger content or location mods.

    I recommend loading RtC towards the bottom of your load order.

    Q. When are you adding voice acting?
    A. There are no plans at the moment to add voice acting to the mod, either with AI or with voice actors. Since this mod has open permissions, other people are welcome to try to add voice acting to the mod. Note, that (WIP) Rebuild the Capitial - Voiced Addon - Alpha,is not compatible with the 3.0 update of RtC.

    Q. I can’t read the dialogue fast enough before it moves to the next line.
    A. Because of the unvoiced dialogue in the mod, I recommend you use lStewieAl’s Tweaks and Engine Fixes and set bNoAutoContinueDialog to 1. It makes it easier to read the dialogue which might pass by too quickly otherwise.

    Q. Where is the guide?
    A. There is currently no official guide included for the mod. Past guides in the download were very outdated.  To unlock more content in RtC, just keep playing FO3. The more Fallout 3 quests you complete and locations you explore, the more content you will unlock in RtC.
    Critica77y has made a Google doc that includes helpful information about the mod's content, but certain parts may be outdated as of the 3.0 update.

    Q. Is there evil playthrough content in the mod?
    A. Not really. Obviously you can’t even start the mod if you destroy the Citadel and if you destroy Megaton you will be soft locking yourself out of some of RtC’s content. There is also no content for if you poison Project Purity with the FEV. That being said, there are options in the mod to ally with the slavers, destroy the Ghouls in the Underworld, or scourge the Pitt (again).

    Q. Is there content for the Mojave?
    A. Not much at the moment. You can sign a treaty with whichever faction you complete FNV’s main quest with (requires FPGE), along with some other smaller stuff. You can install a patch for Claim the Mojave that will allow you to send Brotherhood troops to the Mojave. Note, that RtC is incompatible with Claim the Capital (the TTW addon for Claim the Mojave), but not the base version of Claim the Mojave.

    Q. The squad recruitment terminal is not working and/or I’m getting errors about arrays or strings (text is being weird).
    A. This was probably caused by exiting to the main menu and then loading a save. Exiting to main menu rather than just fully quitting to desktop causes issues not only in RtC but in other mods as well. I recommend simply not doing that or installing this mod.

    I am stumped at Investigate Percy, I can NOT find the books even though I feel as if I have searched the entire rooms I can't find the key to the safe to check it. Any attempts at finding a walk through have proven fruitless. Any help would be appreciated. LOVE the mod otherwise.

    Edit: Found how to unlock the safe, still can't find stupid books. Also the vents look off and I can see outside the room through cracks as if parts are not lined up properly. No idea why.

    Edit 2: Nvm figured out the quest. Was looking for wrong things.

      To progress the quest, you have to like E (activate) three things, i failed to notice the book. a

    Which skills or S.P.E.C.I.A.L affecting expedition success? I've got all skills and points on 100 and 10 but on eleventh attempt i fail expedition why?

    How in the love of God do I change the hotkeys for the radio? I don't have a numpad and changing the config file seems to do absolutely nothing

    Was there suppose to be another way to complete the quest with the Rusted Talon?

    The sister never did explain why did they join the talon. I probably click every possible dialogue.

    3. i think that's pretty it. honestly i thought the medical diary 1st would convince the leader the talon have no love or loyal as they have for the mercenary group.

      Sentinel sidearm, gun version. You get jt at some point in the mod main quest, probably after multiple investing n quest completed.

      It used 44 magnum as ammo tho, so it's kinda weird but still look nice.

      Trying to edit, i.e buff dmg, realistic dmg, etc, is a bit tricky since it seem to rely on a script instead of just the weapon stats itself.

    I recommend to play Rebuild the Capital using the save from this mod. It's a clean save with only MQ-necessary quests completed to go to final end. 

    So you can start playing Rebuild with most of the DC quest intact, from Agatha to Wasteland Survival Quest, etc...

    Could you please give a(nother) happy ending for Steel Matrimony quest, for a Traditionalist ending?

    Specifically, an ending where the son and mother is happy, and the son won't bother trying to court a fking cultist.

    Atom worshiper aren't your typical modern religious practitioner. They want to give cancer ffs.

    The idea of a normal person being in a relationship with a (atom) cultist is more crazy n insane than romeo and juliet.

    It's not a forbidden complex love relationship between a muslim n christian, but more like abrahamic religious person with pagan worshiper.

    And honestly, I kinda like the idea of two couples (Hunnicutt & Fowler) who used to hate/dislike each other gut to end up falling in love with each other after they grow the fk up, after getting to know each other that is.

    But you only give an ending where the player could only tell Hunnicutt to give up his love to a cultist

    Lie to Fowler the man has feelings for him, which resulted bad karma.

    Why can't their be another option (I know there are technically two way to end the quest)?

    I wanna be a cupid so bad but Fallout 3 cupid quest involve helping a girl to date drug a man of religion, which also resulted him losing his job.😢😢😢

    Oh, and also, the quest just automatically show the location of Joan Arno without asking anybody of her location, presumably the atom worshipers in Megaton. This one is a bug. But not a game breaking one. Maybe you didn't add such stage and just skip it.

    Bro I knew you didn't ask for feedback but this specific gameplay piss me off.

    "Hickory Dickory Dock, the mouse ran up the clock."

    That's the correct sentence for the first passage of the Anthology Book, right (minus the capital letter)? Why did the game respond it was incorrect? 

    Here's my personal opinion wth those kind of quest/puzzle, please do more "puzzle" that rely on player attribute/skills and rely less, I mean a LOT less on player external skill and knowledge.

    Im no american nor englismen, I don't fking know the existence of a western nursery, at least not that one.

    Twingkle twingkle little star, I know that s#*!, humpty dumpty fall to the wall whatever, i know that one as well, but not this shit. this puzzle that require obscure knowledge or something makes the game/mod so not fun.

    I thought it was a pervy  joke, the mouse ran up to the cock. hickery, dickery, dick. fortunately I dislike those puzzle on the spot and just use chatgpt.

    I enjoy those attribute/skill check, in fact, you should do some of the very high check. 

    super genius check (9-10 INT),
    super lucky (9-10 LCK),
    super human strength (9-10 STR),
    first class scientist/curing cancer (100 Science/100 Medicine),
    playing as a world greatest detective (10 perception and 10 int)
    etc, etc, etc.

    Fallout vanilla rarely play with peak attribute, they should but they didnt.

    Do you think you could add reputation reward (or something) for player who disband max levelled combat squads.

    So the reformist combatant (footmen) will give reformist reputation, and vice versa for traditionalist.

    I feel like sending away my kids who i help grow up to become an independent adult but they never sent a letter or drop by to visit.

    It will also be awesome of you could recruit them, even after disbanding them before recruiting a diff combatant.

    And/OR increase the level capped. The stats capped stayed (25% increase dmg, crit chance, 5 max DT increase, etc) but they can level up to 10-25. Yes, it will or could take a long time to level them up to the max, even level 10, lots of kill, lots of xp, etc, but it's so fun and rewarding to see them becoming this strong, powerful, juggernaut npc. 

    Especially for the weaker combatant, i.e footmen. Imagine a max dmg increase, max attack speed and max DT fighting alongside the player.

    Knights are awesome (only melee paladin, ehh not so much), but sometimes semi OP are more fun than outright OP.

    If you're not interested in either, especially the latter, do you think you could point in which direction in the GECK where I could edit for my personal taste, or is it impossible?

    Do you accept feedback? Either way, im just gonna leave it here.

    Triage 100 medicine is to OP, the fact you can heal your squad to full health in a instant without the need of stimpak makes the game too easy.

    Easy is fine, too easy is not so much.

    I'm playing in hardcore which mean no instant stimpak heal. And it's not fun that triage can be abused in such OP way. 

    Of course, one can just not simply, but that's not fun nor immersive.

    1. Maybe add a feature of where you can't triage during combat 
    2. Or make healing slow if hardcore is ON.
    3. Make triage heal only up to certain percentage 50 to 75 percent? So player with 100 medicine still need to rely on stimpak to heal them back to full health.
    4. Or all above (I like this one, but whichever you can do. I doubt codding them is easy).



    Also, COULD you please make them follow the player at greater speed if left behind or too far away.

    If a player has a perk mod that allow them to run faster, + sprint, they will be left behind quite easily compare to Companion (not sure if Companion running faster than usain bolt is vanilla or mod).

    This one is more important for me than balancong triage! Thank for the mod!
