For anyone downloading, just a heads up for a specific issue. Knuckles (brass, spiked, love & hate) do not play well with how the PC holds rifles, idle or aiming. It will look off in 1st and 3rd person unfortunately. The issue is the positioning of the hands I think. They look fine with other weapons.
Sick mod, but I found it is incompatible with weapon animation replacers. At least the animation doesn't play out the way it's supposed to, and without this mod, they do play out as intended.
I have Hit's Anims, and an example is when I had a Scientist Glove equipped, and then tried reloading a 44 magnum with the scientist glove worn, and the animation didn't play correctly. Removing this mod fixed the issue, animation plays nicely.
The game seems to auto-equip the boxing tape bandages regardless of what I have set for gloves upon loading a game from main menu after booting. This happens even after the boxing tape was removed from my inventory, which seems to suggest that it's been borked into my save file. What could have caused this?
I think that's because the mesh used for the fake gloves is the bandage one. Loading a game not reload the model of the weapon you were using. Switching to your 'glove weapon' and back to another weapon should restore the right mesh
I made sure my character isn't equipping any weapons, then I equip Brass Knuckle, and equip another weapon to make my fake gloves to be Brass Knuckles, but whenever I boot up my game and load up the save from there, the fake gloves gets reverted to Boxing Tapes. What's weird is that upon unequipping the weapon at that moment will correctly switches out my weapon to be Brass Knuckle, as if the fake gloves were set to Brass Knuckle.
Doesn't seem like a game breaking issue, so I guess I can ignore this if you can't reproduce it.
I mean, I can reproduce this since it's the normal behaviour of the mod, the mesh change is not save baked. You have to equipping your weapon again. I could try to script something so the correct mesh is save with your game.
Ah, I see. Now I understand what you meant by the mesh used for the fake gloves is that of Boxing Tapes'. Well, if it's something that's supposed to be happening, then nevermind.
