thank you so much for this mod❤️🔥🍻 I tried to make Vanessa work without her chest glitching out and no matter what I did with the mod which are stated to work with her, like the skeleton mod just didn't work.
so I then looked at up and apparently someone said using "newer skeletons would fix the issue" and low and behold your mod fixed her
Despite downloading and installing the latest version of NVCS (13), it gives me an error message of "Required bones missing in 3rd person skeleton. Install Compatibility Skeleton version 13" when I have this mod and B42 Bows (1.12b) together.
I too am encountering this same issue. Yet to actually encounter any problems outside of the error message though but still would like to know what to do about this issue.
+1 Everything was fine on my last setup. I changed computers and migrated to another drive. Everything from my previous load order works flawlessly. Except this. It wouldn;t be too bad if it didn't display the message on every. Single. Save reload. Once is fine. I do not need a reminder every single time I quick-load. If anything knows how to fix this I'll zelle you 10 bucks (half serious)
Here's what I did using MO2: Reinstall NVCS Installer and make sure it is on the very bottom of the load order. You don't need any other patches or overhauls, especially if they're overwriting any files, just disable those or uninstall.
I repeat: literally reinstall NVCS in the MO2 and place it on the bottom of the load order. I hope to hear this helps, if not, I'll be here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ When reinstalling.... Available Skeletons: Tick the Default option for the skeleton Support Files: Mod Organizer (installs Meta.iNi file for Mod Organizer.)
You take the mod name itself, not the esp, but the mod names on the left side of MO2, and drag n drop it to the bottom of the list. Or right click and send to priority
What I did to fix this was install Robert S Male Body and let the skeleton overwrite it on the left side of my mods. (Mod Organizer) So I put it above this letting the skeleton from that mod overwrite. I believe you can just completely delete this skeleton and use the one from there. It seems to fix the message and work perfectly for me. The mod also states that any mods that require this will work on that.
No no no no those are mods that require THIS mod, not the other way around. You don't need any of the mods in the "requirements" section. This mod requires nothing lol
Had to read the pinned post on 360 Movement more closely lol. The skeleton MUST be placed at the END of your load order, and 360 movement (plus the 3rd person anims compatibility patch, in my case) placed right ABOVE it. Then it works.
APOLLO/Robert S skeleton is NVCS with few additional bones. Any mod that use NVCS skeleton will fully work with Robert S or APOLLO mod. You can remove NVCS from your load order forever if you use RS or APOLLO mod.
I would be glad if NVCS authors actually, finally update NVCS for RS/APOLLO bones, but it doesn't seem to happen.
On the other hand, I will always provide updates for RS skeleton according to NVCS skeleton updates, so any mod that require NVCS will always work with Robert S and/or APOLLO mods.
Just a question, I'm using your mod without any other mods that add a skeleton or mods that overwrite it but I still get stretching in 1st person. Are there other types of mods that could conflict with APOLLO?
When I load a save, a popup says that I have missing meshes for 1st and 3rd person skeletons, but I installed everything correctly, and the mod is loaded at the very bottom of my load order. I tried everything to fix it, but nothing works. Also, the mod seems to be working fine, even though the popup says it isn’t. I'm just going to assume that the code that verifies if the mod is installed is bugged or something and just keep playing.
Speak for yourself it doesn't work for me at all and it breaks the quickthrow mod for me and breaks other mods that use the skeleton I don't know why it does this
you probably installed it incorrectly, just do a normal reinstall with your mod menager of choice and it should work fine even if the pop up says otherwise, at least that is the case for my game and I tested everything related to the compatibility skeleton mod and everything is working, also dont forget to place the mod last in your load order
From what I can tell, version 12 of NV Skeleton had some "unfixable" issues and was ultimately scrapped. I tried looking on Reddit and on other forums online and this seems to be the common answer, but make of it as you will.
