Can you add "The game was rigged from the start" dialogue to the scene too? :)
Also isn't logical for Legion to disarmed him?-
I'll see if I can't add some new dialogue like that when I have some time.
As for the Legion disarming him, he has Maria in his inventory during this scene, you can loot it off him when you kill him normally. Guess he used the <keep holdout weapons> option, lol. -
For what it's worth his gun likely had no ammo. Also his hands were tied and he was likely brutally beaten by the legion before facing the courier. I doubt him having a gun on him would make a difference at this point.
Also this game is almost classic RPG style where dialogue tells you that you did something without actually having seen it in game of you doing it. We can assume maybe it was next to him or something with the rest of his belongings maybe??? It's possible.
Would be nice if a mod could just place his gun next to him on a small table next to a cattle prod and some brass knuckles to show they've been punishing Benny! It's possible to put items that can't be grabbed or used in the game such as the weapons display at Mick & Ralphs from freeside. Also through modding you can make items disappear and have working versions put in your inventory.
Wish i knew how to mod this myself. That would be soo sweet!

for some reason i can't get this mod to work, does the prompt only appear if you enter the legion fort peacefully? or does this mod require a fresh save?

Shouldn't require a fresh save, and I don't think it matters which way you come in. Load it last in your load order, if it works after that then there's a conflicting mod and I can look into making a patch

i tried putting it at the bottom of my load order, no dice. it's probably something i messed up if i'm honest.

If you want a real challenge; you can shoot Maria outta Benny's hand during combat and then quickly pick it up, repair it if you need to, equip it and shoot the shiit outta of Benny.

This plus the mod that allows you to tell Benny the 'Game Was Rigged From The Start' is the holiest of combinations.
