Yet to try it out, am about to start a new game. I've found the desirability of various clothing and armors to be quite lacking in the vanilla game. Previous game I made it to level 20 only ever using the Wasteland settler outfit, despite it's peasantry appearance it's easily the objectively best clothing in the game, giving you bonuses in AGL and END whilst also providing 2 DT. My new playthrough will be armor based so I won't get to test clothing specifically this time, but I still look forward to see how armor will be shaked up.

Got to playing for a bit and the description asks for feedback so heres some feedback:

I got to checking out some clothing anyway and found that due to multiple outfits still remaining vanilla, e.g the Caraveneer outfit, this mod has quite an opposite effect and makes some outfits even more useless than they were in vanilla. Easiest way to handle this issue is to add functionality to the clothing that was excluded from being changed.

I also think it'd be better if the bonuses were more unique rather than a uniform "Unarmored clothes" and "Light armor" etc.
For example the Khan Simple Outfit  and Roving Trader Outfit give the same benefits as any other light armor. It'd be nice if it played to the background of who would actually use these outfits, maybe the Khan Simple Outfit makes chems last 10% longer. And as for the Roving Trader outfit, although a boost to charisma isn't illogical, I think it should exclusively boost barter like it used to, and replace luck with more carrying capacity due to the appearance of the outfit (It looks very baggy) and replace sneak with +1 END to mimick the slightly protective thickness of the outfit.

Mere suggestions of how it could look, I dunno' how difficult  it'd be to add chem extenders as outfit bonuses or if people agree with wether Roding Trader Outfit should only benefit barter and not speech too like it does in it's current state (It adds +1 CHR currently)

laughed hard of this REbalance. Name this one "mod that makes supereasy game even more easier", it would be honest at least. Gosh, clothes with +10 points besides other bonuses...

Cool, I really like the description and am gonna install into my game.

If you don't plan on doing it yourself I'll look at the esp and look into making a patch for New California and The Frontier.

My only suggestion at this point is to see if this can be done via NVSE scripting
ie. have the script find look at armors and determine if the weight class and apply the bonus universally for compatibility,
maybe also have a lookup table for unique NCR/faction named armors to apply bonus if item
and have it look for the NCR/faction string in the item name to catch any generic ones missed.
Might look into doing that as well, I'm mostly a Morrowind Modder though so I'll have to brush up on the FNV/NVSE script functions/changes, idea is here for whomever has the time and ability to do so.

I don't have to ability to write scripts and I haven't played The Frontier.

You can create a version for NVSE or the Frontier as long as you credit me with the base idea of the mod.

Also give me feed back if something needs changing for bug fixing and balancing.
