Hummm...the so called Cattleman revolver, looks identical to the Colt .44 - .45 . It ejects empty shells and reloads from the gate on the right side. This mod makes it look like the eject and speed loader of a Smith & Wesson. Dirty Harry is reloading like what we see in the images here.
i love you trying to make the 357 more viable but that reload is cursed my guy. the colt SAA cant do that unless you take the whole gun apart but regardless nice animation. it would work great with a colt navy or remington new model army.
no it wouldn't. I own a colt navy and you cannot remove the cylinder like that. nor did people carry around spare cylinders for Remingtons. try taking the cylinder out after it's all fouled up from firing.
this would make sense if Fallout: New Vegas had a Nagant M1895 revolver. shame the reload sound doesn't sync up either. still, an interesting bit of cut content.
hello, I loved the mod but I have a problem with it, it turns out that the animation is not very compatible with wmx because if I let wmx be overwritten by this mod, it does not add the 3rd modification of the weapon and if I make wmx overwrite it the animation does not appear, I hope I have explained and be able to have a solution of this <3
if it isn't a bother, could you make a tutorial video on how to properly edit the reload animations + what to change in the weapon's meshes with NIFskope? I'd love to know how to do this so I can modify another weapon in mind
Does this do the same thing to Lucky (the unique .357 revolver)? Anyway, nice work in sorting through the unused records, animations and misc. files! These little things are very nice, and when similar "small" mods of uncut content are taken all together, it makes a cumulatively big difference!
It does not work on Lucky as is, at least not with my setup. :( Of course, with 94 mods and without the patience to disable them systematically can't be sure it's not a conflict somewhere.
Good news, everyone! The trick that broccolimonster recommended below for the Sweet Revenge rifle works for Lucky. I used FNVEdit to change the reload animation in the YUP file and it is working without a hitch...so far, anyways.
As of the latest YUP update, the broccolimonster trick with reload M no longer seems to work on Lucky for me. Still works on regular .357s. Not sure if it is something in my load order or the update, but whatever. Pity, that fast reload made Lucky quite the weapon.
