Make sure you install FCO 2.3.1! Not any other version.
Many of the compatibility patches for other mods that come with the NVR3R FOMOD installer are outdated. Either use the older versions of these mods or check out Manzaeger's patches herelink

FCO is needed only for the assets. You can get rid of the .esp.

The VNV Uncut Wasteland has changed to an esp file. Would it be possible to update these patches for the updated VNV Uncut Wasteland?

      Hello,
Sadly yes it has been change to an esp file and prevent us to play NVR3R. What should we do ?

      EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRg9Gyaftus
This video explain how to flag an esp file into an esm file using XEdit wich I give a link to incase others might need it https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34703

I was able to run the game perfectly after doing that but perhaps it could cause some issues later or mid-game idk, hope it helps

Does that not mess up the file by flagging it? Or did it work fine?

When I try to open the main BSA with BSA Browser, I get an error message. This doesn't occur with the Face Textures & More Textures BSA archives. Reason I'm trying to open it in the first place is that I noticed some pretty heavy stutter during LOD transitions, so I'm wondering if the BSA's compression method is causing it.

It's well known at this point that any body and face mods will screw up any non-vanilla NPCs in any creation engine game, and patches aren't exactly common. Is there a guide somewhere for patching them ourselves?

Still cannot use this mod with Viva New Vegas list because of the Uncut Wasteland.esm missing issue. Anybody know of a work around? This is the best version of NVR3

Same. If I turn off the plugin that needs that ESP, I get missing meshes on some faces.

UW is not a requirement for NVR3R. NVR3R comes with a FOMOD allowing you to select individual patches according to mods you've actually installed, and one of them is for UW. You should be simply able to uncheck UW in that installer. Yes, probably the faces of the extra NPCs in Uncut Wasteland are not covered by NVR3R, but there are not many and unless you are excessively perfectionist there should be no problem.

I'm missing a ton of meshes for faces. Originally I thought it was a conflict with The Living Desert, but it's affecting vanilla NPCs as well. I had to deactivate NVR3_UncutWasteland.esp because Viva New Vegas' Resources Version doesn't have a master, only an ESP, so that could be it? Either way I don't know how to fix it. I'm assuming it could also be an issue with the files in FCO.

      Keeping FCO enabled fixed it.

I keep getting missing meshes even with the correct FCO version. I think the issue is that FCO is not installing properly in MO2, since the FOMOD isn't working and I have to install manually, but I don't know if I am supposed to install all the options for FCO ("clean", "dirty", follower mods, etc) or just the folders under main. I have tried both and I am still getting missing meshes. However, if I disable NVR3R, I no longer get this problem. Any advice would be appreciated.

Edit: I fixed it for now by making my own folders and put the correct FCO files, and it may also be a conflict with CKR patch so I'll move the question there.

Could you explain a little more on how you fixed it? I'm having the same issue with some male face meshes.

i downgraded yup to 12.3 and it fixed some things like doc mitchell but made my landscape black and textures around it were very glitched out so i reverted back. Game still broken when removed even with new game, it glitches out my modded animations and makes buildings miss meshes and all type of diff stuff. am i not uninstalling correctly or something. feels ignorant

I fixed the game by using the mod limit fix mod. This made my mods and this one work together.
