About this mod
This mod makes repairing more difficult by making each repair require a consumable Repair Tools item. Also replaces Weapon Repair Kits, with patches for JSawyer Ultimate's Armor Repair Kits.

Description
This is a ground-up remake of the 'Repair Tools' feature from Project Nevada using minimal xNVSE scripting and separated from the rest of the Alternative Repair option.
This mod makes it so that repairing an item requires a Repair Tools item. Repair Tools are consumed when you carry out a repair, which adds extra difficulty to the repair system by adding a limiting requirement.
Repair Tools can either be crafted or gained by using Repair Kits (which replace Weapon Repair Kits) found in the game. The fact that Weapon Repair Kits no longer serve their original function also increases the difficulty of maintaining equipment, as they alone pretty much broke the entire vanilla repair system due to how common the parts were (especially during and after Old World Blues).
Now maintaining your items in a post-apocalyptic wasteland should actually be a challenge.
Installation
This mod requires the following:
- Dead Money
- xNVSE
- JIP LN NVSE Plugin
Standard installation procedure: add the file to your data folder and check in the game launcher or your mod manager of choice. Load wherever.
Uninstallation
This mod can be safety uninstalled at any time and will have no permanent effects on your game. Just delete the file and you're good to go.
Compatibility
Make sure that this mod loads after any other mods that affect Weapon Repair Kits.
I have also included two patches for JSawyer Ultimate Edition. Both disable Armor Repair Kits and Repair Kit breakdown recipes, as these options are no longer needed. The Push's Tweaks file also increases the recipe requirements to match those in the Push's Tweaks add-on. Use one or the other.
