Im currently using this mod with Jsawyer's mod with Push's tweaks and Famine, and I was wondering if this would make repair EXTRA hard considering the difficulty step this mod already adds, so Im between editing the recipe file to consume 1 extra scrap electronic and output 3 repair tools instead of 2, But that doesn' t sit well with me....So I want any personal opinions from anybody and what yall think about it in the name of balance. Should I compensate for the increased price and new scarcity of the basic components? Or shoud I leave it as it is and deal with it?
Im gonna roll with it as it is in the meantime... Just because Im curious on the 90 degree turn its going to create in my playthrough
So I'm not a modder or anything, but as far as I can tell the JSUE patch just makes it so the Armor Repair Kits from that mod are functionally replaced by the Repair Tools just like the Weapon Repair Kits from vanilla. But the Vigor mod doesn't have Armor Repair Kits, so you shouldn't really need a patch to begin with.
I don't think so. I was just trying to use it and it wasn't working well as there is an option in AR to utilize repair tools. It wasn't recognizing them for me when I tried to repair.
So I'm using this with DUST but, I don't quite sure if it work or just don't work at all. I crafted repair tools, its in my aid section, tried to repair some armor or weapon and it pop-up said "you don't have repair tools". I checked back in my aid section, its still there, and it said "contains repair tools" so what the heck? Oh and apparently, I missclicked the repair tools in my aid section, it consume it & it work like in the vanilla game where it just repair my equip weapon.
If anyone can make it work with DUST please share the guide.
Having to scrounge constantly for parts for repair kits really makes this mod a ballbuster - which I like. However, I'm having a problem in that the recipe to get them isn't giving me any. I have installed Immersive Fast Travel Encounters since then, and its the ONLY thing I have installed, and without the mod I am still not getting any repair tools from the recipe.
EDIT: Okay, the problem I think was never there, but I could have sworn that Repair Kits were classified as Aid items and not Misc items, my bad!

I have the same question. Has anyone figured this out?
Swap to JSUE or make your own patch.
EDIT: Can answer my own dumb question now. Repair requires a similar item and the new repair tools. Works great.
