Realistic != good gameplay, sure, the vanilla sway is a little too much, imo reducing the speed at which the loop occurs is a better way to balance it (which i did already), not toning down the sway in general, the best way would be a new sway pattern altogether, but it cant be done via anims which is zad
no weapon wobble has the same vanilla value for spread, but its completely different pattern + its speed at which loops occur is 100x faster that vanilla and u dont see the gun swaying, so the no wobble mod is more like a fixed value of weapon inaccuracy rather than swaying point of aim
btw, my initial comment got old like a milk XD as it turned out that it is possible to make a new wobble with anims, i completely forgot about this mod and me making this comment, so got confused when i got the notification lol
in general its up to u if u want the no wobble or consistent spread mod, but i'd definitely not think about this mod, simply reducing values of spread isnt enough to fix anything
Could be a little JIP Script, wouldn't need an esp slot, wouldn't need to worry about mod compatibility neither. Just slap in these five lines in your JIP Script and you're set.
hey listen guys, ik it sounds more simple to do something else but this is his first mod. I myself would use another mod or do a tweak like what was mentioned, but think of it like this, its his first mod he's probably ever made that touches on a small aspect of some fnv jank and theres a LOT OF JANK in fnv, give him that credit at least. But to the mod author congrats on making your first mod, hope you enjoy making content for this community we built. have fun with it n make what you want.
And what happens when there's more than one mod that tweaks the same settings via script. There's no way for you to conflict rez that without knowing specifically what it changes beforehand (not all mods heavily documented). Therefore with things like this (that edit vanilla values) using .esp and then merging settings is the way to go IMO. People here are as afraid of esps as people in Skyrim are afraid of scripts. It's pretty funny.
You don't even know what you are even taking about mate.
Why in gods name would you make an entire f*#@ing Esp that is just going to alter ONE THING and take up the limited amount of plugins that can be run at any time, FOR A SINGLE EDIT, that can be done non-esp?
took all night bec im a sleep deprived fry but i managed to figure it all out. took KhTum's advice and put it into stewietweaks ini (under the [Game Settings] section) but instead of 10 i set it to 0.10 as 10 would cause my arms to flail around all over the screen. removed "SetNumericGameSetting", added = signs and changed from 10 to 0.10 and everything worked like a charm. now i have a free esp slot and my aim is steady like how 100 Gun should be, thanks guys
It's fine to want to reduce ESPs, but there's also a mod that increases the maximum amount of ESPs you can use to i think 2048, or at least 1024 AND increases performance for having many plugins. It shouldn't be a problem
but also also this mod breaks accuracy to a degree and JAM's dynamic crosshair. soooo i wouldn't recommend it anyways
Damn, this made my guns more accurate and offset the aim to the bottom right some in first person hipfire for some reason. it also broke my dynamic crosshair.
It's unfortunate because the reduced sway was beautiful
It's a pretty bad mod tbh, it only reduces the sway slightly and only when NOT aiming down the sights. Once you aim, boom, back to drug addict hands.
Also, it just makes all the guns into laser beams, it's ridiculous, you can hit a guy 50 meters away with a 1% condition 9mm pistol. If that wasn't broken enough, it makes all VATS attacks a guaranteed hit, no matter the distance or player stats.
You might as well just give up on aiming and bind your RMB to trigger VATS.

SetNumericGameSetting fGunWobbleChaseDriftTime 10
SetNumericGameSetting fGunWobbleMultScope 10
SetNumericGameSetting fNonAttackGunWobbleMult 10
SetNumericGameSetting fNPCMaxGunWobbleAngle 10
SetNumericGameSetting fWobbleToSkillConversion 10
it's just easier and more convenient for me to use this, besides I can spare some esp slots anyway
