Thanks for reminding me. I added some new ultrawide options. Keep in mind, due to the original aspect ratio of the wallpaper, I cannot keep all the details and it is a cropped version for now. So it does cut off some of Dogmeat. However, I am hoping to rectify this soon as I have been in the process of remaking it. Hopefully the cropped version looks better than the 16:9 stretched to ultrawide though.
5120x1440 version? i'm sure me and the one other guy that has a screen this big will enjoy it lmao (for super ultrawide edits i usually make the borders fade to black instead of zooming in even more since it will cut a lot of the content)
I'll have to see what I can do, though I may wait until I'm done with the new version before doing any more aspect ratios. Not sure yet. The fade to black is a good idea though, thank you!
Regardless of the image being cropped man starting up the game and seeing how much better it looks compared to regular title screen is the chefs kiss on my modded TTW and thanks for the work man
Thanks for the kind words. If you get a chance, I added a test 21:9 (3440x1440) non-cropped variant in the miscellaneous files section. This is an attempt to use fade-to-black with a small touch of AI to expand the borders slightly. I think it turned out pretty good. If you want to test it out and let me know I'd appreciate it as I don't have a ultrawide monitor.
i have a legion 5 pro and it uses 2560x1600. this was more of a joke comment than an actual suggestion so don't worry about actually adding anything lmao
I have this mod installed, the 1080 variant because my laptop is 1920x1080, however for some reason all i see is a black background screen, not this image. any clue what could be the issue, because MO2 doesnt show there being any load order conflicts
Hi there! The 1080p should work fine. Is it just completely black? The only thing I can think of is some mod is overwriting it in the left MO2 pane. Can you check the 1440p version and see if that works? It will scale down to 1080p automatically to fit your resolution. Are you playing just Fallout New Vegas or are you playing TTW?
Me likey! I would like to have the old/burnt parchment looking fonts, though, because: OMG, they are a perfect color match, especially with the first and third pics!! Just sayin'... >.>
Thank you, I'm glad you like them. I know what you mean in regards to the first picture, though. Luckily the font changes and the logo aren't part of this mod. I should really mention in the description that they are from Nehred's Main and Pause Menus Overhaul. If you install my mod you will have the default logo and fonts.
Also keep in the mind the third screenshot is vanilla TTW. So if you have TTW installed and you prefer that one, there's no need to download my mod. I was simply comparing my mod versus the vanilla TTW one which is quite low resolution and compressed.
What's funny is I never intended to release this mod or my grass mod. I made them both as prototype proofs of concept. A few folks from the TTW Discord encouraged me to release them, and I'm glad I did because so many people like them.
I've been putting off an update, but I do have one coming. Which is a completely redone one from scratch. This one has some issues and I wasn't 100% happy with the way it turned out (again, proof of concept). So keep an eye out.
I'm sure glad you did too! We need as many experienced modders as possible working on TTW...it is far from being finished, mod-wise that is. Meanwhile, I've decided that if I'm going to continue modding my games I'm going to have to master the basic tools, at least, and maybe return to GIMP and Blender, both of which are like 10x bigger (feature-bloat) than they were when I first started learning how to use them!! :.(
ps...I forgot to mention that I have your grass mod as well; great work on that one too!
Sure! I uploaded an optional desktop wallpaper version of both flavors in the files tab under the miscellaneous section. It contains the 3840x2160 versions of each. However, if you do not have a 4k monitor don't worry as any modern operating system (Windows, Linux, MacOS) will scale them down to fit your monitor resolution automatically when you set it as your desktop wallpaper. If you're using them for something else, then you can also manually scale them down in any image manipulation software, including Paint.net and GIMP. Both of those are free and the wallpapers are in JPG format.
Do check back for updates, as I am in the process of redoing them from scratch. Along the way I will not only be uploaded multiple versions, but also wallpapers of each. As well as .PDF files for people to play around with as modders resources.

This only half works for me, I have the new image but it still shows the text from nmc's pack. It's installed after nmc and the other texture packs, so I'm not sure what to try here. I'm extremely new to MO2, and sort of new to modding in general, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'm using the version with the ttw combiner, in case that's important.
Because the TTW Combined pack is in archives, that means that my main screen is loading, but the title itself (they are two different files) is still being shown from the NMC pack. If you want it to look like mine in the screenshots then I suggest using something like Main and Pause Menus Overhaul by Nehred. If will overwrite the title (which is the text from NMC) and display it as shown. It also has a lot of other options, too. I actually tried remaking the title/logo but Nehred just did it better haha.
Note: The reason why NMC's is still loading the title/logo from its mod is because my mod doesn't supply that texture. Keep in mind if you use Nehred's mod you need to make sure you have all the requirements.
Right on that's exactly what I was missing! Currently just figuring out what to do with the ini file in overwrite after installing MAPMO and changing the hud colour, haven't seen anyone mention that so I'm not sure what to do or if it's fine to just leave it there, but otherwise I've got my setup exactly how I want it now. Thank you!
