do you think you can make a custom file of this that removes the gun from the normal level list and add it too the marked men? I wanna make the divide a tactics style area, and this helps.
Dose anyone know what level that this rife starts to spawn? Also were one could find one out in the map? I waited and try to get one from the Gun Runners but they never seem to have one.
If you didn't know, an M16a1 with a2 furniture is called an M16a1e1.
And speaking of M16 variants, If you're looking for a new project then I have quite the idea: So there's this tabletop post-apocalyptic game called Twilight 2000 and it's based in a world where the cold war went hot, but that's not important. Within the game there is a gun called the M16EZ; The M16EZ was made by the US Military out of old, worn out M16a1 rifles. Basically the M16a1's carry handle and front sight post was chopped off and in it's stead was mounted a SUSAT optic on the flat top left behind. Not too different in concept to a Colt-Diemaco C7a2 and it's respective Elcan C79 I suppose.
The reason why I suggest this is because it sounds like something NCR Rangers would do to increase the effective range of their Service Rifles. US Special Forces (Delta Force specifically) actually cut the carry handles off their rifles during the late 1980's and early-mid 1990's to mount red dots in our world, so it's not like it's outside the realm of possibility.
Just a suggestion. If you don't think it's worth your time then that's fine, I just wanted to get this idea out to someone who has the knowhow to be able to do it.
the handguard clips into your hand in both vanilla and hitman animations (cant say for the other knvse patch because i dont have it installed) perhaps moving the viewmodel a tiny bit downwards could fix it
Clipping is gonna happen in this game with custom guns without animations specifically tailored for that custom gun. Just the nature of the beast. Moving it around can alleviate it but its still not a permanent fix.
That would be great thanks. I haven't seen a proper recreation of the one used by Counter Terrorism Spec Ops units on any of the NV mod sites even GUNetwork.
Kinda moved on from this mod sorry. Someone else said the sounds were too quiet so if they're too loud then what you can do is open the esp with GECK or xEdit and modify the 2D fire sound's static attentuation cdB to your preference.
Wouldn't even know where to begin making something like that, I don't make stuff from scratch as I'm just a porter. Dragbody's FO4 power armor mod has a really high quality midwesetern power armor as seen in the screenshots though.
I figured it out on my end too earlier just haven't uploaded the fixed esp yet since I was updating the SBC Cannon that Hitman made anims for. What's wrong with the sounds though lol. Granted they're the ones from regular Cold War and not Warzone but they sound alright imo.
Thanks for checking the mod out! As for the FN FAL besides the XMLAR from MWR most likely not since nickheggo's FAL is the definitive FAL mod for New Vegas.
Yeah Treyarch's games especially don't have the best sounds. Absolutely hated the sounds in Black Ops 2 back in the day lol.
Tell ya what I got the L1A1 and its LMG variant the L2A1 from Rising Storm 2 from an old weapons pack on Gunetwork. I'll clean 'em up and patch them for modern FAL kNVSE animations and release it here on the Nexus with just the vanilla 3 weapons mod support

I know that TTW mini hideout mod provide a free HK416 SOPMOD rifle.
I also found the problem with the distribution. The leveled list entries (Cond and WithAmmo) don't actually have the gun in them, so it never spawns.

The sounds aren't awful or anything, just a little quiet and dinky. CoD doesn't have the best gun sounds though.
As for the FAL, nick's is good, just a little bloated with several redundant gun variants, weapon mods, etc.
