This mod unfortunately doesn't (oversight by the creator). To make it cover it, go into the mod's files, open the text file and paste this at very the bottom of the list:
SetWeaponOnHitSetting WeapPreordCaravanShotgun 2
This will make the sturdy caravan shotgun explode limbs as, like you know, it for some reason dismembers limbs in the vanilla game.

I took your logic in the description and expanded it some.

I was looking for a mod that did this dynamically based on projectile type, weapon ammo, and damage inflicted. couldn't find anything though, so here we go.
finally, i've checked the console and the script is executing correctly. all item names are valid, and I'm only playing with VNV + CFWR, so no TTW weapons.
Would this mod clash with project Nevada? I am trying fix the head explosions, but it is not really working. With project Nevada there's already a config that edits the dismember chance and the explosions' chance. im not sure if this mod overwrites that config.
Dismemberment Tweaks make gore happen depend on weapon caliber, size (melee weapon). This mod disable the gore from all weapon. So you are no longer dismemberment the enemy in game.
This mod only covers the base & DLC Vegas weapons individually while Zebumper's mod covers the same but also has global tweaks to change the setting by weapon & limited (laser, flamer, BB, Pulse, Scatter beam) ammo type. So, if you're wanting to not have to edit all your weapon mods to match, Zebumper's is the better solution. Although adding weapons to THIS mod is simpler.
