The maps looked great and are far more useful, however, with this mod installed I get CTDs when trying to enter interior cells. Remove the mod and things are gravy. Not sure what that would mean.
For whatever reason, this isn't working for me. I've tried all available options in the ini, with no noticeable change of the local map. I've even gone to new areas just in case it had the previous resolution of map saved somewhere, but nothing.
I took a screenshot for each option, including disabling the mod entirely, with no change.

</div> <p>[SOLVED-ISH] The culprit for me was JIP MiniMap https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/64596 After staring at the minimap long enough I realized that it was just another generated localmap, so essentially there is a lot of potential overlap in functions between the two mods. One display in your Pipboy and the other only outside your Pipboy. Choose one for now, and maybe one of the authors will code the other solution into an all-in-one local map solution. Both seem safe to enable/disable at will, but I can't be sure.
<p>Having the same issue, I see no change even when starting a new game. I've got a bunch of other mods installed but none that should be affecting this plugin that I know of. I'd love to try it on a vanilla install but it's a bit late at this point. With other game/mod combos we could use a script trigger to try a manual start or check statuses, hoping there's something similar.</p> <p>[edit]
Checking the logs shows a successful plugin load by NVSE in steam's [Fallout New Vegas\nvse.log] with</p> <p>"plugin C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\NVSE\Plugins\\HighResLocalMaps.dll (00000001 HighResLocalMaps 0000000C) loaded correctly"</p>

Your mod does a great job at de-blurring and sharpening the local map, thank you!
I'm ticking down the 15min timer from Nexus with my mouse over the endorse button, great mod! :)
Also, I always thought these were pre generated in the GECK and not dynamically at run time, interesting.
