Hey uh.. This is my first comment but I really do love this mod, however, anytime I un holster the minigun my game crashes.. I don't know if I should give some kind of code or whatever (I'm not very smart with that stuff) but I'm going to mess with some mods, uninstall and reinstall and see if that fixes it!
Hello, i'd like to know if you could make your mod compatible with AWOP A world of pain as the mod adds a Minigun Mk 2 and i really would like to use your animation with it because yours is made for the Vanilla
Hey ETJ, Love this mod and your handgun mixtures. I have a quick question about the New Vegas Animation Overhaul - Guns has an overwrite animation bug. I know it's not a bug but any idea of How to fix it? Any suggestions or tips will be helpful and it's not a deal breaker on the animation. Just a knick picky thing I notice. Thanks again.
Ik I'm a few months late, but to anyone else that has this problem, you can hide NWAO's animations in MO2 (meshes>AnimGroupOverride>Rock_Minigun or smth like that) to let ETJ's animations work
It's the json file. You don't need to edit the animation folder. Check if there's any json file that edit animation for minigun and delete it. Hiding the animation could also works but it might cause bug if other guns use similar animation folder.
As much as I love the look of the minigun in this mod, unfortunately I'm running into a very annoying sound bug where the gun spins up and fires but no bullets start coming out for about a second or two.(i.e., still seems to have the vanilla delay)
This is on latest TTW 3.3.2 version
I adjusted both the No Delay on Auto Weapons and Spin Up Weapon Sound Fix on Stewie's Tweaks in various combinations, trying to keep both on, none on and alternating between the two to try and fix.
No luck unfortunately. Gonna have to go with the belt fed mod that got ported over from Fallout 3, at least for now. Sorry :(
was getting this issue as well, and the user who suggested the weapon sounds overhaul fixed the sound issue. although, the sounds are different, but at least they match up with the guns spooling and firing. and to be completely honest, the sounds from the overhaul sounds better in my opinion.
If you add the TRUE MINIGUN mod https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/88274
the speed rate at which the bullets come out of the gun, matches the sound of the gun firing and the barrel rotation as well, giving a very nice immersion boost as everything lines up visually and audibly.
Can you make your animation to be compatible with Fast reload? Also bigger ammo cap would be quite nice, not Fallout4's cap but maybe 235 to 300-350 or 400
if you already have the animations , would you be willing to fix miniguns ? - take vanilla miniguns - remove the magazin on the minigun - add a bullet belt going from the backpack into the minigun - the reload should be connecting the bullet belt into the right side of the minigun it's weird the way it is because there is a different model for 1st person and vanilla model for 3rd person
Go into Data/Meshes/AnimGroupOverride and delete the Rock_Minigun folder manually if nothing helps. You kan also go into the corresponding json File and delete the line for that to debloat knvse.

Weapon Sound fix and weapon sound overhaul fixed it for me. Load ETJ last and it should fix it.
