All good mods have a sticky post from the author at the top of the comments.
PLEASE NOTE: With the recent release of Xilandro's magnificent B42 Optics, I have updated the Compatability section of this mod with the following information:
There are a few compatibility issues that can be easily fixed by editing the following settings in the configuration ini file: 1) Set iDefaultScopeMode to 0 2) Set fSwitchingKey to anything that isn't the FOV swap key. There could be more issues with B42 Optics, please report any you may come across
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Version 2.4 of this mod was completely broken, please update to version 2.5 or revert to 2.3 as soon as possible, 2.4 is probably not good for your game. Sincerest apologies to all those affected, not my proudest moment.
iDefaultScopeMode=1; Sets the default scope mode when switching to a scoped weapon. 0 is Iron Sight mode when switching to a scoped weapon, 1 is Scoped mode.
set to ON/YES
+
Having this line on "nvse_stewie_tweaks.ini":
; disables zooming when aiming with non-scoped weapons bDisableWeaponFOV = 0
set to OFF/NO
Prevents the "NO ZOOM" bug/glitch.
It's working fine and again. TY for keeping up with the bugfixes and updates of the mod.
If you use the cover based stealth mod, in order for this mod to work correctly, you need to change the peak around corners setting to "vanilla/inactive"
Somehow got a nice big that brought back the vanity mod in a non game breaking manner. like i was configuring another mod that had a default keybind on mousewheel and when i dealt with that i pressed mouse wheel and found the vanity cam fully functioning. like the two cams switch between eachother with no problem. Gonna test if the setting to bring back vanity cam works the same way as the bug
Is there absolutely no hope we could ever see a version of this mod without the FOV Slider requirement? I really like the changes your mod makes and would love to be able to use it, but FOV Slider is sadly just a completely broken mod for me and introduces all sorts of issues, so this requirement makes it impossible for me to be able to actually use this mod.
main issue is occasionally when toggling from 3rd person to 1st person your character will get stuck facing like 20 degrees to the right of where they should be looking, even when using weapons. It's really annoying.
There's two major problems for me. The camera in certain places such as vaults clips through the environment, and when trying to replicate the "centered third person", when looking all the way down/up, the camera changes its view.
I seem to be unable to find a setting to change the zoom rate when you zoom from third person while your weapon is holstered. As the zoom is insanely fast. I restored the vanity cam, mapped to the 0 key. This is the only thing i changed in the ini.
I installed the mod mid play through yes ik ik, the zoom rate speed was working fine in that save. Started a new game and it went to ultra fast zoom rate.
Before i could click down the mouse wheel and it would function the same as if helding down the vanity camera key in vanilla, keeping the character in place, while rotating the camera. how do i revert this functionality?
EDIT ----- i don't know why, but it works like supposed to now.
I uninstalled this mod, and unfortunately deleted all past saves beforehand. Once it once uninstalled though, my camera is now stuck in a permanent centered view. Would anyone know of any way to properly fix this without fully starting a clean save? I've tried just canceling it out with other animations (sitting, unholstering weapon, etc), but have had no success. I reinstalled as an attempt to find any possible fixes, but I'm yet to find one. If someone had an answer to this, I would sincerely appreciate it. Can't find any answers anywhere else :(
anyone possibly have an issue where coming out of scope from 3rd person puts you in wait, but does not do that when going into scope while in first person ?
