I really like this idea as a concept. Something like this has been done in games before very successfully. By that I mean the concept of the first starter area you begin the game in being full of level 1's and starter fetch quests but it's also the location that you find something game chargingly hard to go back to.. Always in the back of your mind throughout your entire journey..
If you need my help refining this idea let me know! Off the top of my head im thinking you can make a custom sledge actually. Give him the same combat fighting style Ulysses has where he automatically changes weapons between ranged and melee depending on your distance :)
I have a boss mod for New Vegas heavily inspired by ebony warrior LOL
but after writing out that entire above suggestion i then realized this grape boss is kind of a meme that this guy made for his YT video so its not getting changed or anything.
perhaps a wild wasteland encounter would be good for him, thanks for your input, i will make sure to keep everyone informed about the proper context of the mod in future!
Not so much without warning, they installed the mod. Now if the guy is activated by a certain quest being completed as this boss fight should be, so its an actual late game reason to come back to that cave, then its perfect and comes down to balancing the character to make a compelling boss fight. If its not, then the mod author should look into a quest activator for this NPC to make it a worthy addition to anybody's custom merge patch, that just about everybody ends up learning how to make to save space in the load order.
