This will replace all of the male player's Grunts/Power Attack Yells, and Death Grunts with those of "The Scout" from the Valve game "Team Fortress 2"
This one was a request, but I wasn't sure if you wanted me to mention you. Just message me if you do, and I can edit this. But for now, you know who you are.
UPDATE: This was requested by brandonboi22
The Death and Pain sounds are Self-Explanatory for what sounds I used.
The Death sounds are "Scout Crit Death" Yells
You won't really be able to hear these normally, New Vegas does indeed have player death yelps, but they are almost never heard.
So if you want to hear those, I recommend This Mod
The pain sounds are from Scout's "Sharp Pain" and "Severe Pain"
I had to take some Liberties with the Power Attacks, as most of the TF2 Mercs lack Guttural Yells/Grunts that doesn't sound like it was pain-induced
So I decided to use some of Scouts tamer pain yelps
To Install:
From the folder, drag/copy the "sound" folder into you FNV "Data" folder
Or just drag the folder "Player Voice - Scout Into Vortex
But if these don't work, try replacing the voice files manually through this file path;
Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\Sound\Voice\falloutnv.esm\playervoicemale
OR
Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\Sound\Voice\falloutnewvegas.esm\playervoicemale
If you don't have it through steam, as long as you can locate New Vegas' "Data" folder, you should be able to replace it properly
This time, I decided to go with one file that includes both falloutnewvegas.esm and falloutnv.esm, as I now realize that if for whatever reason you needed either or, you could drag it manually
If there are any bugs, or you need technical help, just let me know and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Feel free to make suggestions, I wanted to get more into modding anyways, and I figured sounds were a good starting point, so I wouldn't mind trying to do the other mercs too.
Besides, Valve is famous for them not caring about copyright (Copyright LOLOLOL)
Also the vid is formatted a bit differently this time, due to whenever I used the "player.say" command, it would cause the Silent Player Glitch, so I ended up having to rely on FNV's random player voice line chance. (Which I swear does it less when you are trying to record it)
I'm very much sure it was something on my end, seeing my 300+ mod load order. (354 as of now, to be exact!)
But you should be fine as long as you avoid that command, it doesn't really have much use out of testing purposes anyways.
But if you decide for whatever reason to do the command, loading a save prior to using the command will work. (As that is how you fix the silent player bug, loading a save from before the bug was caused)
