Thanks for downloading and all the positive comments! I'll be looking into what else I can add to this over time as I update it along side Desert Natural Weathers. Suggestions are welcome. Please endorse!
This will always be updated whenever it needs to be as DNW receives updates.
Compatible with Desert Natural Realism Redux, just load this after.
Not compatible with Desert Style Weathers at the moment as that mod is out of date with the current version of DNW. When it's updated I'll make a patch if necessary.
Sandstorms only appear in the Mojave and will not show up in the Capital Wasteland if you're using the TTW version!
I'm still looking into this but unfortunately I think most of interior rain's functionality comes from climate control and that's a .dll so I have no way of changing anything with it.
Hey, i just fixed the interior rain by changing the Weather Classification from "SandstormWeather" from "None" to "Cloudy" in the Desert Natural Sandstorms.esp, just removed the interior rain sound.
Also it is possible to add a interior wind sound, if you check the esp's of Interior Rain.esp and Interior Rain - TTW.esp you can see that they have triggers for interior rains sounds depending on which climate Weather Classification is being currently played, as so if its "Pleasant/Cloudy/Rainy/Snowy", they have triggers for everyone of then, so you could try using a non-used int to create this trigger for the interior wind sound.
This is the best, thank you! Does this have interior weather sounds like the rain? I remember the rain did. I tried going indoors while a sandstorm was raging but didn't hear anything. Also curious about the dirty edit mentioned bellow.
Is the edit to DNRealismStripHorizonSCRIPT a dirty edit? It looks a little bit like it is so I gambled and deleted it. The reason why it matters is because Realism Redux.esp edits the same script so you don't want to override its changes with a dirty edit.
It's not a dirty edit. It is fine if you let Realism's edit to the script win the conflict though. That mod changes the strip lighting differently than base DNW. The script in this mod is just a copy of the regular DNW one.
Hey there! It seems the latest version of DNW breaks the DNWeathersMainSCRIPT modified by this mod, as it gives out a lot of errors: [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDD9F] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDDA4] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDDA5] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0E0EED] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0E0EEE] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0E2FCF] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0F4727] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDD9C] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDD9D] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDD9E] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDDA3] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDDA0] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDDA2] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDDA1] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0DDD9A] <Error: Could not be resolved> [00:00] SCPT \ References \ SCRO - Global Reference -> [EE0F4D47] <Error: Could not be resolved>
I'm getting interior rain sounds when there's a sandstorm. Not sure if intended or not, it makes sense for there to be sound but I believe it sounds the same as rain.
I found a fix for the interior rain by changing the Weather Classification from "SandstormWeather" from "None" to "Cloudy" in the Desert Natural Sandstorms.esp, just removed the interior rain sound and keeped it clean.
I'm using DNW and DN Redux + this mod in the correct order. Everything seems to work fine but when I go to a different area like Freeside, The Strip, Camp Mcarren etc the weather can change instantly. Mojave could be fully sunny then I enter Freeside and boom it's heavy rain or a sandstorm. I have no idea why it's doing this! Has anyone else experienced this?
I think this might have been caused due to having the Nova Arizona Weather's patch in the wrong load order, I've moved it to the very bottom and this problem seems to have gone away for now.

An immature question, any idea to make another mod like interior rain so when I lie down I can still hear the wind howling?
