in one of the slides, caesar kept gambling running in primm. Why would he stop it in the strip, where all the big money comes in? kinda not lore friendly
The closest ending for Primm where that happens is after choosing NCR as the sheriff and siding with the Legion:
"Despite NCR's pledge to support Primm, they abandon the town after their loss to Caesar. Though Caesar keeps Primm open for business, its citizens live under the constant watch of Legion soldiers."
Which doesn't say anything about gambling necessarily. There are other businesses in Primm e.g. Nash's store and the Bison Steve. In my ending slides, the casinos on the strip also stay open for business but with gambling and chem selling prohibited.
I tried looking for quotes from the game where the Legion explicitly prohibits gambling but the closest thing I could find was the razing with Nipton (but that doesn't reference gambling, only prostitution and thievery). It's also strange that casinos accept Legion money which could imply members of the Legion do gamble.
Either way, I wanted these slides to reflect FPGE so the lore friendliness issue would lie with that mod.
Hey Plumber- I see you support the ultimate ending slideshow mod. Do you know if it actually works as intended, or is it as broken as comments/reports imply?
Hard to separate legitimate problems from users with broken mod loadouts.
There was a bug on my other ending mod but i added a fix yesterday. As far as i know the patch file for this one should work too. I'll test it to be sure later tonight
I think you should change the slides to have the White Gloves not return to cannibalism if you just kill Mortimer and Phillipe. Due to the bugginess of the quest, I usually deal with the White Gloves by just assassinating Mortimer and Phillippe after bringing Ted back to Heck, and I think that should be enough to keep the White Gloves from returning to cannibalism.
I'm also disappointed that I don't get the "killed all Omertas" ending if I just shoot up Gomorrah without bothering to complete How Little We Know. I've discovered that's a very fun way to deal with the Omertas. But it's not your fault Nero only spawns as part of the quest.
Don't see why gambling needs to be outlawed by the Legion as casinos would be a profitable source of revenue for anyone + Ancient Rome had rampant gambling and betting + the Omertas and White Gloves keeping their casinos means nothing if gambling is illegal as there is no more profit + casinos in-game can exchange Legion currency which means they would also be open to doing business with the Legion if in power.
I just did that to follow FPGE. You could make the case that those casinos have side businesses with the Gourmand and Brimstone but yeah it's a weird one. I doubt the Legion would let the Omertas live either way tbh but I wanted to keep it consistent
The mod included in Duncan's mod is a different one. That version is functionally compatible with FPGE but there are some inconsistencies with the Legion endings and what actually happens in FPGE. If you want to use this one, put it lower in your load order to use this mod's voicelines/scripts
I placed this into my game but no new slides showed up. ESM is in my data folder with the others and the sound and texture folders are both in the right places. IDK what's incorrect
help, i just finished the game recently with this mod and it's requirements, but after the dialogue for the Omertas slide is spoken, I'm stuck. It doesn't go to the next slide. Any help?
Edit: I'm also having the same issue when I have the Independent Extended mod enabled. The slides won't continue at all after some dialogue was spoken. I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to ask this here and instead ask on that mod's comments.
Hey sorry about not clarifying. The cutscenes for Zion and the intro have missing voice lines when this was active. Once I removed it they came back. Not sure what’s causing it but just wanted to throw it out there incase others have the same problem
Ah okay, I've tried it out on my end and the voice lines were fine. This mod shouldn't have any effect on other dialogue topics but if anyone else runs into the same problem, I will have another look

Are you using the Ending Slides Overhaul?
