When the rifle first dropped, I told Webb that his animations weren't working. There was a weird delay when firing the weapon that made it pretty much impossible to use. I could tell that it wasn't on my end because I could see the same thing on his video. He did sweet nothing to fix it. It's nice to see that there's finally an actual functioning animation for this weapon.
Unfortunately, this rifle, the way it was made it's pretty much unusable, unless you rely REALLY heavily in VATS, which I suspect Webb does. It's not good long range because of its ironsights and it's not good in close quarters because it's a slow firing semi auto. It needs to get either a scope for long range or to be made automatic.
I'm still endorsing this mod anyway because your anims are awesome. But if you don't mind a small request could we get an automatic anim for it?
I wasn't saying he owed me or anyone else anything. I have mods of my own, not nearly as good or complicated admittedly, and when someone points out a problem, I always make a point to fix it or to explain why I can't fix it.
At the time, the impression I got from Webb was that he was blowing me off, which was a weird thing to get when you're only trying to report a bug so that the mod can be better. He's now apologized and explained, and so have I, because this might have come off a bit rude. So it's fine.
Absolutely love the patch here. Great work man! Your awesome. I apologize again for the permissions if they weren’t clear enough on the page. I will make sure that my mods have them more clear now.
