Praise JazzIsParis yall! Without him doing all the hard work on the renderer and having patience to listen to my pleas to implement it - this would not be possible like ever. All Hail JazzIsParis!
0.16b is up Fixes and additions ● B42 Optics version print on initialization - added ● Scopes affected by stealth fields - fixed ● Pressing tab key while aiming - making handheld pipboy visible - handheld issue, but fixed it on my side ● Cinematic kill obscures view with player body - conflict with Enhanced Camera - worked around ● Removed debug 3rd person because people can't behave. ● Zoom going wild when holding ads while going out of pipboy - couldn't reproduce. Precautions and possible fix added ● Added setting to disable eyebox scaling (lack of standardization in anims bites my ass for some reason, funny..) ● True Ironsights warning - added ● HDR warning - added ● ISControl check - added ● Warn user if NVTS is installed - added 0.17b is up + 0.18b follow-up Fixes ● Fixed an oversight with weapons that have scope attachments, and enabled flag "Don't Use 1st Person IS animations" ● Added Environment Fade flag for meshes, now lens reflection glare should not be extreme during nighttime or inside interiors 0.19b is up Fixes ● Fixed possible variable failure if used with HotReload, or if game poops itself during saveloading cycle. 0.20b is up Fixes ● Fullscreen Nightvision during reloading (while aim key is pressed) will no longer happen ● Bad Optics configs now will be reported ● Most, if not all, issues with imperfect rendering (water, sky, fog, actors low fps movement in peripheral vision) have been fixed by Jazz at this point, including critical memory leak. From now on JIP LN version 57.15 is a hard requirement
0.21b is up Fixes & Changes ● Fixed 1st person hands visible if you hold POV key while unaiming ● Removed fNearDistance changes in favor of JohnnyGuitar's SetViewmodelClipDistance. And due to that.. ...JohnnyGuitar NVSE version 4.99 is now a hard requirement
Bugs reported so far with no fix if you are using Depth of Field: Weird flickers and strange ooga booga with RESHADE - turn off DOF from this mod, or look for the RESADE shader that causes it and turn it off. Whole screen smears in lines - turn off DOF, that's a bug with refraction. DOF and refraction for some reason does that. Fix, MAYBE will happen.
For some reason only sometimes a B42 mod will be the reason my game just stops responding when I launch it, and then when I remove it, the game launches to main menu fine. but also it only happens sometimes.
I assume this is an issue on my end because no one else has complained about it, but its weird it happens to only b42 mods. specifically B42 Optics, but also Dynamic Pip-boy, and B42 interact.
is there anything that b42 does that could cause this?
also this only happens sometime; most of the time, but not always. it can sometimes fix itself if I reinstall all b42 + it's dependents but other times it doesn't, some times it just works fine and when I go to launch the game again, it freezes on launch. I have already gone through my mods list and found the three problem mods. any clues as to why?
Funny question but why doesn't this work on the DLC Weapons from "Old World Blues"? Would be cool if they did because I like that gun with the dog brain which barks when it notices creatures close by it can shoot
Anyone know how to turn off "switch to 1st person when aiming"? I like being required to switch to first person manually when aiming with my scoped weapons, it's pretty useful when stuff gets too close to you
Mod is incretible, I've got only two gripes: can't get it close enough to use it with comfort, and mouse sensitivity doesn't switch to "scoped" mode, because of that it's hard to actually scope something in the distances
Are you using NVR? If so, removing the NVR will fix the sensitivity. Xilandro says in the description that "New Vegas Reloaded: effects won't be visible through scopes." NVR also controls FOV so I think that's the cause. Both are great, so I'd like to try them. I'd be happy if I could use both. If this is irrelevant, forget it.
I apologize for writing in a confusing way, but it is true that using NVR at the same time causes problems with the sensitivity. There is no information as to whether Absovec is using NVR. At least for me, I am experiencing problems with sensitivity when using NVR, so I am looking for a solution.
Hiya, (love your work btw) i was just wondering if there is any way to adjust the actual zoom amount for individual weapons. I havent been able to find anything on this, and would be stoked if there was. My main issue is with the AMR. The zoom is just a bit to much making it hard to scope with it outside of VERY long range scenarios, which kind of just means medicine stick is just straight up better in 99% of scenarios, which stinks cause the AMR is dope. Anyways if there is. Thanks in advance.

this is a video edition of a very simple concept explained in the description, but everyone ignores it
"Weapon has no scope/give patch/not compatible"
"Scope all black/Shadows covering lens/view inside lens is misaligned"
launches to main menu fine. but also it only happens sometimes.
