Anyone know a fix for the weird bald spot issue? Everyone in the wasteland look like their barber had a coughing fit mid cut.

This mod looks great. It does a lot to improve the look of NPCs. However, there are some nasty errors that are causing a memory leak. If you install this, be sure you pick up the 'Character Kit Remake Hair Fix' as well, otherwise your game is going to be crashing regularly. Instead of downloading the file from that mod though, go to the posts section and look for Alexandr's comment chain. He fixed the memory leak entirely.

it seems like that mod was taken down unfortunately. What did Alexandr say to do?

Edit: Nvm, extracting eyelashes_n.dds and renaming it to eyelashesd_d_n.dds seems to have done the trick

Hey folks searching for answers: I took the fix mod down not knowing it would hide the comments. Very silly! I put the mod back up and, with Aleksandr's permission (in comments), I've replaced my bad fix with his good fix. This should work now! Sorry it took a year.

You should make a standalone mod for the eyelashes; that way anyone who doesn't want to use the hair/teeth can still have eyelashes that work with CKR. For me, I choose not to use the hair because I think they're changed just slightly too much and end up making the characters look a little unlike themselves. Also, in some lighting conditions and with certain hair colors, it can look a little plasticy or even just as though it has a different art style from the rest of the game. Other than that it's an absolutely fantastic mod; and I still crave those CKR-compatible eyelashes.

Heya, are you planning to make a Character Kit Remake - Beard mod too? or can you atleast recommend a beard mod to use with this and your other CKRs?

Looks like a good mod, but the Nexus says that not all files have been scanned, I'll consider trying it out once the author fixes that. Also if this mod is broken by default and needs another mod patch to fix, I don't wanna download it. So if ya fix that too then I will give it a try.

I really want this to work for vanilla heads, but it just doesn't. Sad.

Say I wanted to port this to vanilla heads. I can blender but I'm new to new vegas modding. Would it be difficult to export the hairs from the BSA, then convert them to not clip in blender, then recreate them as a vanilla replacer for vanilla hairs? I'd also be willing to learn how to add the extra hairs if it's not something that's too difficult to create.
