I have a strange issue under Proton (Linux): If I load the mod the way it comes packaged in the download, the game crashes during the legal screens. with a Visual C++ Runtime Error. If I then edit the GLO_Lamplight.ini and remove all the settings starting from [LIGHs] until the end (I have to remove every single section after it), it loads. Proton doesn't seem to like the LIGHs entires for some reason... :(
Edit: Further testing has shown that it's only the fColorMult lines. Removing all of those also allows the game to boot up normally.
Furthermore, Yvile's Crash Logger logs the following error:
You, kind sir, are a scholar, a gentleman, and a sanity-saver. (Or possibly you're only that last thing, but it's the one that counts most.)
I had the same issue on Fedora 42 KDE edition, and thanks to MO2 and the judicious use of separators, was able to enable the contents of each separator until I nailed down which block of mods contained the culprit -- then drilled down to enabling them one by one until I reproduced the CTD at this mod.
And here your comment was waiting with the fix. (Rather than deleting the problem lines entirely, by the way, just commenting them out also works.)
Hello, is this compatible with Vanilla Weather Tweaks? The author mentions it's incompatible but I've been playing with both mods and the game looks incredible, better than any other weather mod or NVR preset i've tried. I can't find info on possible conflicts and I feel crazy no one mentions the atmosphere and feel these mods create in tandem.
i have switched from so many weather mods it's crazy. i have never been happy with them. i always have some issue with the lighting. this may be the one i actually want.
Howdy! Good mod. Love anything with modifiable ini. :)
Question: Are there any settings in any of the inis that modify the Low-Light vision screen effects of this game? (Friend of the Night and Cateye, etc.) Default settings look great under normal circumstances, but I've always struggled with these effects looking decent in my game with any light around. I am using the ALT inis, and ALT.
I'm not sure if it's due to this mod, but the NPCs are completely blind at night in my game. Even if I use console command and give my character 0 in sneak skill, the NPCs still can't see me during nighttime, even if I crouch right in front of them. I think the light levels might be too low during night with this mod installed, because it's only when I increase game setting such as fDetectionSneakLightMod and fSneakLightMult that seem to fix NPC blindness during night.

It's quite peculiar...
I appreciate the appreciation :)
